Is it normal if?

You're playing a game. But it was scary, and it scared you so bad you busted out the computer screen with your own fist? I did so with my Alienware. I managed to repair it. But I was playing SCP-087-B, and that game scared the fucking life outta me. I was playing with the lights turned off and wearing headphones. And when I got to floor 32, that fucking monster popped up right in front of me. It scared me so bad I punched the monitor out. I all ready bought a newer and better monitor for the anticipation of my own custom pc. But was what I did overreacting?

Switch to old school console gaming. Worse that can happen is you throw your controller at the tv...and miss.

But the deal is. I used to play baseball a lot. I don't think I'll miss a 48 inch flat screen. It was just a reaction at the time, I tend to fight a lot when I'm scared.

That's actually a desired reaction for the developers.

It's normal to lash out instinctively in the face of danger or when shocked so quickly and terribly into flight mode.

I'm not a pisces moon but i still would not dare to play the game the way he did. The game sounds and looks terrifying.

It was terrifying. I ought pinch myself sometimes. Why don't dumb teenagers do that in scary movies?

^^^LOL! HAHAAHA. I didn't break through the monitor like that. I just cracked the whole thing with one punch and it didn't work afterwards.

I became curious with SCP after this thread and found that it stood for Secure, Contain, Protect.

It's a company that contains as many horrors and peculiarities as they can until they are either neutralized as a last resort or fully and completely understood.

All fictional of course but entertaining.

SCP-087-B is a derivative of SCP-087 "The endless stairwell". 087=B goes by the name of "The corridor". Far more frightening then those stairs.
