I don't think it ran for very long, though-- I seem to remember being disappointed that it was canceled.

It was! I remember the first night it aired on NBC. I was so upset. My mom plopped me in front of the TV forced me to watch the pilot episode. After that I was hooked! Same thing with Punky Brewster.

These were my cartoons...

Yeah, "The Smurfs" and "Dungeons and Dragons" were standard Saturday morning shows to get up early for when I was a kid, as was the case with the Littles. I also watched He-Man, and saw the movie in the theater! I think that was Courtney Cox's first film, haha. Sister was a huge fan of She-Ra and Jem.

Never really got into the live action Spiderman show, but loved "Spiderman And His Amazing Friends."

PS.... Thundercats always seemed like some corny rip-off of Batman and He-Man. The whole Cat symbol illuminated in the sky was totally stolen from Batman, and the dual lives of Lion-O was a rip-off of He-Man. Also thought that the power sword theme was stolen from He-Man and Thundarr.
