I'm normally very energetic. Some people may say hyper. I have been dragging for the past few weeks though. I tried adding more citrus and tomato to my diet. I tried drinking more water. Coffee makes me dizzy and jittery and soda makes me bloated but I do drink black tea. It's just not helping. I do my usual 30 minutes on the treadmill or eliptical but I'm still just so exhausted. Any suggestions?

I'm about to hit my busy time at work. Between now and the end of February I will have 4 days off plus the usual family stuff. I gotta cook, clean and go to school events and games. Travel basketball starts on Wednesday and practice is an hour away so that is a 4 hour commitment twice a week. I can't afford to be tired.

Today I went to a college basketball game and dozed off! It was an exciting game too. 1 point game with 20 seconds left. I'm sleeping well, I just don't get it.

Sleep.

Exercise.

Mental stimulation.

Tea is good (i'm English so lol)

Workout.

I do all of those things and I usual wake up running. It's just these past few weeks are sheer exhaustion.

I can't even blame the winter weather because it was 50 degrees today which is a heatwave.

Side effects include hallucinations and vomiting? Oh God, I can't risk that. If there is a 1% chance of side effects, I will be that 1% .

I'm almost died from 1 dose of NyQuil because I had 2 excedrin migraine 3 hours later. My dog saved me. If she didn't bark over me and wake me up I probably would've died. I knew something was really wrong and couldn't see but was able to redial my ex. He got here and called 911 because I was passed out on the kitchen floor and grayish. The hospital treated me like a drug addict until the blood tests came back then suddenly they started speaking to me like a human.

Slow it down a bit, the body tells us in it's own ways when we need to rest.

Mine did in the Army by giving me pain in my shins and knee's and my back.

Then when i rested which well i left the Army, my body grew larger and can cope with it, now i just lack the training lol.

Not why i left but an observation, and i could have carried on just fine.

I just can't afford to slow down until end of February but I can't afford to get sick either.

Yikes!

Well can't hallucinate from this stuff unless you take it 1-2 hours before you go to bed.

Vomiting is most likely due to the taste... it is horrible... but nothing that a lil honey and sugar can't fix.

What's you're sex life like?

Non existent.

No masterbation?

I didn't say that.

Well I'm just saying too much sex or masterbation can leave one feeling drained and is unhealthy as well. So maybe your estrogen levels are low?

I just looked up symptoms of low estrogen and aside from being tired nothing else fit. Thanks for the suggestion though. It was worth looking into.

You and me both! I'm run down most hours of the day in the last month. I'll probably hijack some of these suggestions. Thanks for the thread.

Let me know if you find one that works. I'm going to wake up tomorrow and eat a handful of walnuts and do a shot of vinegar while sipping green tea.

This is why I don't google symptoms. For the hell of it I looked up "low body tempature". I really don't think I have any kind of illness. My tempature has always run around 96 degrees...always. Well, according to this article I have the "plaque of the 21st century"

“A low body temperature creates a happy home for viruses and chronic infections, and is a sign of degeneration and gradual cellular death. The problem with a low core temperature is that no effective immune response can be mounted therefore no fever is generated and infections go undetected. The sickest person is one who gets the same infections but never miss a day of work because there is no response by their immunes system, so they have a false sense of wellness as healthier individuals go through healthy fevers and immune responses that may cause them to miss work. Low body temperature is the plague of the 21st century. People with low body temperature have a weak reaction to even the most ideal medicines and therapies,” continues Jernigan.

And now I'm concerned because I was walking around with a ruptured and gangrene appendix for weeks in 2015. I felt fine. By the time I went to the emergency room I still wasn't that sick. I just had a weird burning in my side and thought it was because I ate a McChicken from MCDonalds. Something kept nagging at me to go to the hospital. I never expected it to be anything.

Another one missed by many, not drinking enough fluids.. simple as that really.

Yeah...dehydration can be a problem but one of the first things I did was drink more water.

It's probably just winter blahs mixed with stress. I don't feel overwhelmed or stressed but I do have a lot on my plate.

Oh you're having a winter lol where do you live

NY state but I'm closer to the Canadian border than I am to NYC. It's been a balmy 40-50 degrees all week though so most of the snow is melted. I'm sure it will be back soon though.

Where are you?

It's been crazy. One day, last month, it started in the mid 70's but ended with a snowstorm.

Oh forgot to say I basically live near Cincinnati,oh like 10mins lol I probably sound like a redneck hillbilly to you.

Not at all. There is a horse farm up the street from my house.

I had to call the sheriff because there was a stray cow in my yard.

I once ran over a chicken.

I have the hillbilly neighborhood covered.

I rather hit a chicken than a deer, I always feel bad for shit like that tho like the dead coyote on the side of the highway I seen today ?

I felt bad too. There was a big group of chickens in the road so I stopped and waited for them to cross. I slowly started to drive and one turned around and ran right under my tire.

For the rest of the day it seemed like birds were diving at my car. It's like they knew that I killed a member of their species and were trying to avenge his death.
