Ok, new topic. First 15 people get in.

So out of 15..I thought we should try..5 mafias, 1 doctor, 1 cop, 1 slut

7 townies.

(the doctor, cop and slut act as townies..so it would be 5 mafias to 10 townies)

Before the spots are filled, I'd like to bring to your attention the following rules:

1) Everyone will get a "You are townie" pm. Followed by a PM about what role you have (if any). In case you don't get a second pm, you are and will forever be a townie. (days's suggestion so we can stop with the photoshop thing)

3) The cop. The person that will get a "You are the cop" PM from me has the opportunity to ask me in a pm if another player is mafia. The reply I will give will either be "Yes" or "No". The cop will ask only at night, when the mafias make their kill, and not during the deliberation in the town square. You can ask as long as you are alive.

4) The doctor. The person that will get a "You are the doctor" PM from me can save a person every night. He/She just has to send me the name of the player he/she wants saved for that night. Cannot save the same player 2 nights in a row. Saving yourself is also allowed but again, not 2 nights in a row. In case the doctor sends me the name the mafias picked, no one will die that night.

5) The slut. As the night falls on DXPville, the creatures of the night start frolicking too. The slut will send me a PM with a name of the player he/she wants to fuck. If that name corresponds to any of the 5 mafias, no one will die that night.

As you can see townies, these 3 people will help you to weed out the mafiosos. Or so it should lol.

Anyone can say whatever, without my interference. 3 people want to claim they are sluts and prove their slutness in this topic? Go ahead.

I'd be surprised if people didn't claim they had those 3 roles. It will still boil down to whom you trust to be who they say they are.

You don't see mafias being so proud of being mafias and spelling it on the topic..caution is also important here. But yeah, logically..it's in the townies interest to protect these 3 ppl.

Ok, in our tradition.."night" is the time when mafias deliberate and kill.

The cop asks at night.

The doctor sends me a player name to save. If this same player the doctor picked is also the player picked by the mafia to be killed..this person lives.

It will go like this:

"Night has fallen upon DXPville..

Mafias, deliberate and send me the name of the person you want dead.

Cop, send me the name of the person you are suspicious about. You will get a PM with yes/no.

Doctor, send me the name of the person you want saved tonight.

Slut, send me the name of the person you want to fuck tonight"

^If in the scenario above, either the doctor saved the person picked by the mafia to be killed or the slut bedded one of the 5 mafias..I will come back in the topic with a..

"No one has died tonight."

Then the townie deliberation will proceed as always.

yeah, the game is split in 2 stages for each round (just like exo said)

night - mafias vote, cop asks, doctor picks, slut fucks

day - all the townies (and the mafias parading as townies) deliberate and vote someone out.

Here's an idea..

What if..I send a message with an embedded photo..the same photo for townies.

Another image for the 5 mafias..

One for the cop, one for the slut, one for the doctor.

so 5 different images. I don't see how you could photoshop and put the townie image over the mafia image, without knowing what the townie image is.

lol, that defeats the point of giving everyone a way to cheat.

They will be forced to battle fairly in the town square arena!

With words and persuasion and no photoshop/paint!

so the townies still have an unfair advantage of knowing who is a townie, and those who can not produce the same picture is not a townie.

I like the ideas of photshopping and lying. It made it fun. I was convinced PR was lying to me when she wasn't.

"In its simplest form, Mafia consists of two sides: the Mafia, and the Town. The Mafia's goal is to kill the innocents, while the Town's goal is to kill the Mafia.

At the beginning of the game, the Moderator will secretly send everyone their role. The Mafia will know each other, while (in the basic game) everyone else will only know their own role.

The game has two phases, the first of which is Day. During Day, the Town must choose someone to Lynch; they are trying to eliminate the Mafia, but the Mafia can lead them astray by casting suspicion elsewhere. Generally, players will vote for someone they think is Mafia (the Mafia will vote so that they seem to be doing this as well, and might even vote for each other to confuse the Town); when a player gets a majority of the votes, they are lynched. Days does have a point. With the cop, slut, doc..the townies have more advantages than last games. It might tip the balance either way.

Days is right..the whole fun of the game lies in townies not knowing who else is a townie. Otherwise, it would be simple to out the mafia one by one.

And if the townies play it right with the doc, cop and slut..magic happens.

Decision made :

Everyone will get ONE PM with what role they have. What you do after that is up to you folks.

I'll sit back and drink some whiskey and pet a white cat..like all villains do.

Statistically, from what I played in real life..my Pisces sun/Aries Moon friend came up as the town slut more than any other player. He always gets so enraged about it. lol

Its a game, If you're chosen as mafia, there's just gonna be shit you have to say or do to stay in the game.

Ok, everyone gets a townie message and everyone gets another message afterwards with the role they have.

I honestly feel we're overplaying pms here. In a nice reality, we'd all agree not to use pms to talk to other players and just have it all open in this topic (well the mafia would have to talk between them in pms but for the rest of the players..talks should be in this topic). But it won't happen like that, right?

Waiting on 7 more people.

Stop being an annoying sun/moon opposite or I shall cough in your direction.

This is my chance to finally do all the complaining that I had to endure my 3 times hosting a dxp game and 2 times doing the awards

Interesting since I was one of the few that didn't do any of that nonesene. I would have played the whole game staying silent, but I wanted to put my e-foot in the Virgo's ass when she ousted Dazed and called me out for being mafia.

...maybe I should sit this one out. I'm too invested.
