Actually... I don't think he did it on purpose.

There's another video out there somewhere, I'll have to try to find it again later, but it's shot from another angle than the one everybody's in such a uproar about. From another angle and slowed down frame by frame you can see Ward grabbing the wing of Stewart's car as he was passing by and then hanging onto it. He slipped off and that was when he went under the wheels.

Ward was also never supposed to be out of his car. There are very strict rules in place about never exiting the car on the track like that unless it's on fire.

the tony stewart incident was a white on white crime..so you don't feel the same about it as you would if a black driver, who was known for being ill tempered, ran the white guy down

and if a black cop shot that black kid...i doubt that it would be riots, at least not to this degree

Tony Stewart running the kid down has not been established as criminal, and very likely will not ever be. So it wasn't white on white crime.

On point # 2, although totally unrelated to any point I was attempting to make in my original post, you are 100% correct. There would be no riots without the white devil to rally around.

My original comment was just injecting some humor into the OP's assertion that the Tony Stewart incident did not draw national attention....it did. But rioting over it would have heightened the awareness 100 fold.....like Ferguson.

i think there is 1. I just thought it was absolutely hilarious that this race car driver guy "accidentally" runs someone over and it made the Today Show once, maybe 2x. The story has received no attention and if all that other shit werent going on, people would probably pay it more attention.
