I think about you all of the time, but you’d never know it

Deep down I’ve fallen in love with you, but I’ll never show it

And it’s here in my bed

Just these four walls again

As I lie awake just wondering why

I’d give anything to have you wrapped around me

Cuz there’s no place that I’d rather be

But I’m 3,000 miles away and youre with someone else

So it’s all just a fantasy.

But I can’t help but wonder

If it’d even make a difference

If I told you what I’m keeping inside

I do everything to push you away

But I miss you more and more each day

It’s getting harder and harder to hide

It’s killing me living a lie

Does your heart belong to me, like mine belongs to you?

I can tell you everything, you’re one of the few

But confessing that I need you is something I’ll never do

I’ll love you from a distance so you never break my heart

And spend our whole lives wishing that we weren’t so far apart

Do you still get butterflies when you get a text from me?

Do you fantasize about making love under the stars

Even though we’ve never had made love before

Do you wonder what it would be like

Just you and I

Skin to skin, Soul to soul

To take me in a complete state of vulnerability

Get lost in each other’s eyes

Lose track of time

as our breathing synchronizes and the rhythm of our bodies merges and the waves crash beside us

Imagine a connection so intense

You spend most of your time trying to avoid it

Because you know how much it could destroy you

And you would never be the same

Imagine a connection so intense that the making love to that person for the first time felt more exciting than your very first time ever
