I only got one pm from some freak who took what I said as a joke seriously and then threatened me.

I've been here 2.5 yrs now so I rarely get pm's any more. When I do, for the most part they are benign. The only rude pm I got was from Denver, but he's a nut case. And once or twice a year I get pm's from misguided male dxpers, but they're generally benign too.

Same. Been here about...4 years? And I don't think I've gotten a single rude pm. It's a boring internet existence but it's for the best, I suppose. Especially on this site where there's more crazies around than some other sites.

I am very new to this place and now i start to think that its a bad think to send a pm?? The reason i sent a pm to tiziani was coz judging from his posts, i felt he would be able to give me some advice on libras:/

I don't think you should be afraid to send pms as long as they're not harassment. This place is already enough of a social media site, especially given the new front page. Might as well try to reach out to other members as long as both parties are fine with it. At least, that's my opinion.

Nothing wrong with pm's, I've gotten some great ones. For the most part it's a fun feature. But some folks have had dramas as a result of pming and prefer to stick to the boards. If you want insight then just make a thread.

I already tired that but immediately i got some pretty disturbing "reactions" :/

I dont feel comfortable putting my whole story out there especially when some of the people get this need to get offensive and aggressive :/

:/ i may be a taurus, but i hate conflicts and fights :/ i dont understand why would someone reply to a post only to insult the person or call names :/

Don't worry about rockyroadicecream. She's harmless. There are good names who give out good Libra advice. Jeane, Sugarfoot and virgoyum. They might talk in private or in public. I can't speak for them. But they're solid go-tos.
