Stranger things 2

Omg I cried throughout this series and each time was for a different reason that pulled a different chord in me.

I would say that it falls into the sci fi, psychological/cosmic horror genre with lots of Lovecraft influence through out. It’s cute, retro, fucked up emotionally and at times pretty scary.

I could help but see so many undertones and lessons in this movie dealing with demons, abandonment, domestic abuse, alienation, grieving, claustrophobia, betrayal and so much more It ticks all these boxes and it’s got so much heart in it.

The most profound fear that got me was the fear of being damaged permanently after staring into the abyss of horror, the cosmic horror of being driven to insanity after being touched by chaos. And just the loneliness and alienation you feel after knowing what you know.

Such a good show and I’m glad I sat up all night on Halloween by myself watching and sobbing

You're so emotional. The whole time I couldn't help but feel it dragged on and it was boring this season. Very disappointed.

Yes it dragged on in some ways but they built up to amazing moments and that dance scene at the end was so freaking adorable I cried at that part too because that kid was so cute and I was like NAWWWW!!! None of those sluts want to dance with him!!!!
