The front page purpose

I wanted to ask forever and now I will.

That front page where you post something and it stays until it dissapeared and if someone replies - you can’t really track the beginning...what’s the purpose of it?

It’s like people post shit or good stuff but they don’t want that post to live so it’s gone in a few hours. Why bother? What’s the deal with it?

Who needs that? 🤷‍♀️

And comments are inside the post and if post is dissapera- no scrolla possibla.
