The great 2009 moderator elections!

Alright, so we're unlikely to ever see this site actively moderated, but that shouldn't stop us from casting our votes in non-existent elections, should it?

My votes would be, in no particular order:

Aquarius - DK. The dude can act sort of ridiculous at times, sure, but when he wants to he can be one of the most mature people here. He really embodies all that is zany about the Aqua board, without being too "out there" and alienating moderates. He is also liked by all, and never flames. He can be in charge of Sports and Health,, as well if he wants to.

Scorpio - Scorp-in-law. This is the stuff moderators are made of. Most level-headed woman on this site, quite possibly. I can totally see her putting out a hit on AngryScorpio while sipping on martinis and listening to jazz or something.

Leo - a Wheelhomies and Leokitten ticket should be the winner, by all rights. Wheelehomies alone is a bit of a wuss, Leokitten a bit of a jerk, together, though, they can make some beautiful music(and I'm talking about more than lesbian sex, here). Certainly have what it takes to finally bring the Leo board to the level of other, superior boards.

Writing - Ray''s Heart seems to have just the right sort of personality for that sort of job. I don't mean that as an insult. Not entirely, anyways.

Aries - GauravAries. Then he'll have to post more, the fucker.


Also, I'd like to offer myself for the moderatorship of the Misc. board.
As a moderator, I will warn, ban, and possibly execute any who posts nonsensical quizzes on this board(no more of that "What colour is your pancreatic, really?" sort of shit), I will support the re-colonization of this board, and would encourage its economic development, thus ridding the other boards of spam. Vote Yum for Misc. Moderator! Mmmm...Unrestrained bannings and abuse of responsibility have never tasted this good!

Well, in all fairness I think it was more of an abortion than an outright kill.
Not that it will save you from the firing squad, obviously.

anyway, my nominations:
p-angel having supreme reign and ultimate say over any forum;
dyar as second-in-command;
mr. cap as mod of the aqua board;
angryscorpio as mod of the scorp board;
theskys as mod of the virgo board;
stillwaters as mod of the pisces board, possibly 4th in command of aqua & scorp;
robin goodfellow as mod of astrology;
and that is all i care to think of at the moment.

i wouldn't expect someone of your "awesomeness" to understand the reasons behind my nominations.

Great! However, I think having a moderator in the writing forum would defeat the purpose of writing. Writing is freedom to me and to set boundaries on freedom defeats it's purpose. I think this forum should only be made of readers and writers. So if you don't like what you're reading, read something else or write your thoughts about it. That's all. The Aqua board needs no moderation. It needs subcategories ie, "Look at me I'm crazy and weird bitches!" and "My aqua is an asshole right now please give me a reason to not punch him in the dick".
