In fact, the reason these questions even came to my mind is because, I'm extremely ashamed to admit, I pretty much assumed that the instances of victims "lying" were kind of common. Pure, utter ignorance on my part. Never really put that much thought into it. My best explanation goes back to a high school party where I remember an acquaintance girl we all knew to be promiscuous claimed rape. Our response was kind of like, "Maybe she was I guess.. but you know how she is." I feel like a complete asshole for being so ignorant.
Be aware that the "depravity" is on both sides of the coin:

Food for thought, no?

It was so deeply moving. And infuriating. Not sure where to begin.
Why is it so common in our culture to respond to victim's claims by blaming them? Asking the victim to bear responsibility?
Why are they so often accused of lying?
This particular film is about university campuses. it's disgusting but sadly not unbelievable that money and reputations inarguably play major roles.
How can we as a species evolve beyond the depravity? I think starting conversation about it is a good start. Being aware. Spreading awareness. Being open, honest, real.
Also, Saturn in Sagittarius = holding institutions of higher education responsible for their actions. In the case of this film, the epidemic is that there is an insane problem with shushing the cries of victims who have been reaching out for help.
Hell. yes. Saturn.
