One day. It'll be so nice to live in a body that never truly dies. To be something better than just a human. Replacing limbs with prosthetics, organs with artificial organs, blood cells with nanomachines. It's predicted cyborgs will one day be the dominant species on this planet, then soon this solar system. I swear when cybernetics such as full body replacement is available I'm getting rid of this and transporting my brain, spine, eyes, heart, and extremities over to the cyborg body. Anybody here that would do this?

No.

And once the brain goes, you will too.

Just saying. :/

You can't replace brains in cybernetic bodies. In that case you'd be dead and wouldn't be a cyborg at all. Just an android.

I wasn't planning on replacing the brain at all. In fact you get rid of every human organ in your body for a cybernetic prosthetic body except your brain and spine.

Isn't our Mortality a part of what makes Life so poignant and worth living?
I like to think so anyway, because otherwise I get depressed thinking about the Years stretching ahead of me without meaning...

oui merci. Mortality makes us want to reach for our dreams before it's too late. Being machines? So many people are already so much into control that they aren't even really human beings anymore.
