I scour antique shops, flea markets, yard sales and ebay for older/handwritten. An old recipe box is like gold. I always found it fascinating how easily pinpointed an era is where tastes lie, style of handwriting. You sit there sifting through crumbling books and fragile papers with a sense of awe for the woman who thought they were so special to commit them to pen and paper. Running your finger gently over the page and allow imagination to wander with notations. Smile over one splashed with something.

I'm going to write a novella so I'll stop. 🙂 It is a passion and an interest suffice to say.
