I am in a fucking agony tonight.

25 and I have had 4 root canals so far, spent more money on dental procedures than most of my friends. It's not a matter of hygiene, my mother had most of her real teeth gone by the age of 35, and put in implants, or has crowns. People who know what I am talking about can relate to the feeling of demonic agony in your mouth when a nerve is exposed.

So the thing is... my insurance kicks on on the 1st of next month, and I cannot see the doc for another week.

I'd rather not with opioid analgesics and stick to nsaids, but the latter kind barely helps. Salty water doesn't do much either. Any suggestions?

this is nothing special, most of the population lose most of their teeth by the time they're 40.
Another part of the population will keep healthy teeth till the age of 90, but generally they live in non-industrial countries with frugal alimentation.

One of the worst food for the teeth is roasted nuts like peanuts.
It breaks down in tiny particles that dont mix with water and can stay stuck between the enamel and gum for days, rotting and attacking the tooth.

I agree dentistry is a business. As for your teeth, use a none sulfate and flouride toothpaste.

Closys toothpaste is good. You'll find it at Walgreen

Tooth decay is strongly linked to nutrition or lack of minerals in your diet. Someone mentioned Cod Liver Oil, that's a good place to start.
