Is there anyone know how to turn off the location tracking on facebook??

Everytime I post sth in there, it also shows the location where I am at that time...annoying...

Plz show me how to do it.

Thanks so much for your help.

HAHA! Nothing like fooling a few friends into think you're still in their country 😛

When you do an update your location should come up where you write the status, just tap it on the phone to remove it. Same thing from a computer if you hit 'x' it'll go away until you enable it again for future updates.

Settings > Location Services for iPhones, and can't remember for druids and other phones, if you want to turn it off permanently.

Facebook doesn't post location information of desktops and laptops, so, you don't need to worry about them.

As far as your iPad, go to settings. Then press the privacy tab. Then then location services tab. And make sure it says "Off".

That's pretty much it.

Thanks Snaeky. Have a nice weekend.

I think facebook must've removed those settings lol, linked it without checking it but it seems they updated the settings again. Just click the 'x' and it shouldn't show up again unless you specify a location.
