enjoying this fine weather? Warmer than avg temps expected through June (for most of the US anyway). Going to be a HOT summer!

What are you all doing this gorgeous day?

Me? (as if anyone cares HA!) I'm pruning rose bushes, weeding, going to mow the lawn and take out my recent frustrations on some ants! (yeah, I slipped in a little DXP as well 🙂) I've also got corned beef on the stove in honor of St. Patty's day and may even make a Chocolate Coconut Rum cake while I'm at it....

Life is good! 😄
(today, anyway)

BUT, I'm very frustrated, there is a yellow jacket in my shed who won't leave. He looks at me every time I go in and watches my every move. It's kinda creepy, and those things get a stick up there ass out of no where and come at you (not that this one has, but he does watch me). I'm just letting him bee....

I'm liking it, but of course, I'm a bit scared. The other day was nearly a record high with it being 82 degrees. The avg is around 64, this time of year, so I'm thinking about the summer. At this rate, it seems it will be well over 100 degrees most days this summer.

Other than that, I've been enjoying it. Pollen is crazy, but it's gorgeous out. I've been having a lot of ideas for the yard, and was just on youtube yesterday trying to figure out how the get the lawn as green as possible for cheap. Next week I'm most likely gonna get some indoor and outdoor plants and try to figure out a layout in the backyard for my vegetable garden.

Green yard for cheap? They say sod it with clover as it is very hearty... yeah, some think of it as a weed with those dreaded white/purplish flowers, but we mow so frequently that the flowers aren't really there long (if at all) and the green blends well making for a lush looking lawn.
