I don't have a ton of experience with Scorpio moons, or at least people who I knew were Scorpio moons, but I could see this being the case off the experience I do have with them. This Gemini sun + Scorpio moon I knew would occasionally be really affectionate toward me or show me she cared in some way, and then she'd just move on like nothing happened lol. And every time I tried something like that she'd just have this blank look in her eyes like "bro what are doing" lmao
I guess it's probably just the hot and cold factor of Scorpio in general. If they're not really feeling it they don't want anything to do with it, but when their icy Scorpio moon hearts melt they pour out all their love and affection on you real quick and then it's back to business as usual lol

I briefly dated a Scorp moon. He was kinda like this I’d say. Bawled his eyes on the phone with me for hours one morning then acted like I didn’t exist the next day.
Which for us being water moon siblings you think I’d get. But I did not take kindly to it. He spent a month trying to approach me in person and I’d ignore him, like he didn’t exist. Also caught him in a few lies so that compounded my response, lol. Otherwise I’d probably have been nicer about it and more gentle.

Which is why if he hadn’t been lying I would have been nicer lol. Difficulty engaging with me because expressing and accepting it is hard for you, Great, I can work with and meet you where you’re at. I’ve known a few Aqua and Leo suns with Scorp moons and I could see where the avoidance came from and gave em benefit of the doubt. If anything doted on them extra hard, subtly,so they had no choice but to accept.

ahhhhh! Okay - so this is actually a joke between my Scorpio and I. He has Scorpio Sun/Moon/Mercury/Neptune and House 9 Scorpio.
