Are you very expressive or do you close off emotionally a lot? One of my friends is a Virgo moon and it makes total sense; she says I'm too expressive sometimes, and it overwhelms her lol
I understand feeling overwhelmed by energy and emotion and needing to recharge -- I do it constantly because my moon is in the twelfth house. However, my moon is Libra -- Leeb moons communicate. And when you mix air with a water house, you communicate INTENSE feelings.
Also I'm a Gem mars with a Taurus merc, my thoughts are shared meaningfully and whole-heartedly. And when I do withdraw completely, due to the twelfth house moon, she wonders where I went and pulls me back to hangout lol it's like, wtf?
So, what's with Virgo moons? Does this sound like any of you at all? How do you express yourself?

I put this in the moon sign forum, but this one seems to get more traffic! 😛

Anyway,

I think it depends on how much emotions are in your expression. I don't think they mind long explanations if it's not emotionally heavy.

Where's your Taurus Merc at?

It's in the seventh house, as is my sun. So I have a deep need for bonds, and I absolutely have to discuss things when it comes to unions, including friendships.
She definitely can talk and listen, but she'll quickly become concise, closed off and say I'm being too much. So I just back off and respect her space.

I knew two Caps who had Virgo Moons, one is my friend and the other was someone I liked. I think just like other earth moons, they don't really like to be in situations where there are emotional displays, although I always felt that they do try to understand and empathize. I asked where your 8th house starts because it is possible that your Taurus Merc may be within a few degrees from your 8th house and thus the 8th house emotional intensity might have some influence as to how you communicate.
That's what it is, I think. The display of emotion scares her and overwhelms her; she'd rather have things more controlled. my twelfth house makes me insanely sensitive, and my Libra has to speak on it. Other times though, I do withdraw like they say twelfth house mooners tend to.

Well from the looks of my chart, my Venus is closer to the eighth rather than the seventh. So you think that has influence?

no wonder you're attracted to that virgo moon guy. your taurus venus, merc likes it. what about his houses?? and your gemini mars is also what you're attracted to in a man ( a very communicative man) but weirdly virgo moons aren't "generally" the talkative types.

I know of one personally, father in law double virgo, but he's got alot of Scorpio, including Scorpio mercury, and he's very very PASSIONATE about what he's into, and will get into a subject and dissect it, analyze and even have the pleasure of talking about it, but he gets "short" if you don't catch up to his genius.

He said he wouldn't be a great teacher/ because teachers NEED a long tolerance of patience. And he said his brother, the libra sun (don't know his placements) is a professor and is proud of him because his brother can teach alot of people and have a strong threshold. His libra brother is with a Cancer sun woman ( so i'm highly guessing he has taurus moon or at least mars, for patience and to get with that cancer sun) true story!!

Lol I WAS attracted to the Virgo moon guy, he's in the past. His inability to open up to me after over a year of on and off confusion made me throw in the towel. I could see my merc and venus liking this other earth placements. But my air placements dislike the fact that Virgo moons refuse to show what they're feeling, thus getting upset with me when I do. Granted, I know everyone's different so I would never force them to express themselves. But don't get pissy with me because I can lol and at times I really can't. My moon in the twelfth house makes me withdraw a lot for relief. I feel like a sponge, taking in everyone's feeling and energy and I really don't want to deal with anything by the end of the day! Not until I've had my 'process' as I call it. And once I have, I finally get to the talkative, expressive air moon part of myself. It's an interesting combo! And what's weird is both of these Virgo moons that I know didn't understand why I would withdraw when it did, because they wanted me around. I felt very conflicted in the presence of both, I can't explain it.
I can definitely be attracted to a communicative and express man, but I also need my peace and quiet. It really depends, I need that balance 😛

Oh I bet his passion is wonderful! There's not passion like that of a Scorpio, it's great to witness. 🙂 I have seen Scorp placements get very short with people when they don't feel understood.

Libra placements will tend to have much more patience than Scorpio placements lol generally speaking. So I have no doubt he's a good teacher.
Oh yes, Taurus placements help us understand the Cancers! At least it does for me. My mom and best friend are Cancer moons and I totally get them. But that could also have to do with my twelfth house again 😛

the virgo mooner I know is very shy and only express through art and stuff like that. sometime they express their feelings verbally but you could tell they are trying too hard to seem collected and casual and laidback about it. its nice and cute though.
I love leeb mooners btw you rock
Aw, you rock too! 🙂
I could totally see that. I've always been attracted to the gentle shyness of Virgo placements, but it can be slightly frustrating when I can't draw them out lol just requires patience, I suppose!

I have a Virgo Moon and I can be very closed off with my emotions. BUT, I'm also an Aries and we are firey passionate ppl. So I fight back and forth with myself. You normally only see the war godess in me unless I am extremely comfortable with you, then my emotions poor out of me and they dont stop. I date a Leo Sun/Sag Moon and for some reason he can get every emotion I have to the surface, I couldnt even stop it if I tried.

it depends on the person and situation. even when i am expressive, i like to get to the point and cut it short. other times, i emotionally cut off. the best way i express myself is through action. i guess with my moon being in 7h house, i like to form relationships with others, but i get irritated and critical easily. i either lose concern, or i turn judgmental on people. bitchy comes to mind. i like people but i dont like people.

you might have something in cancer? but your taurus gets cancer very well. taurus/cancer are the most compatible it's like they are two people in one.

teachers/professors tend to be airy i notice, not all, but air dominant? I'll have to research. lol

i guess cause they can "detach" and that detachment can help them, go from student to student, able to function in an environment that requires alot of students needing their help.

not really sure. Dr. Phil can handle it with his 7th house mercury. But he has 7th house with mercury libra AND neptune libra sitting there. So it works out great for him. He has alot of patience, coupled with his taurus moon.

i dont have the patience honestly. i would be a sucky teacher. I can have patience for reading a book to my son, but to an entire classroom?? no way.

i remember that film, "Rita" i recommended months ago, it was a Danish Netflix series, it's really awesome imo. Rita is dominant air, with aqua venus, merc, mars gemini, in the 11th too. also has saturn in gemini, lots of air, but also with cap moon. she is an awesome teacher. She's super caring about her students, but she sucks at relationships. I thought her character is well done with the parallel to the astrology.

That makes sense, sounds like most Virgo placements honestly. And it's totally fine, she and I will just have to work harder to understand each other. I'm ok with giving her space and adjusting to her moods, being a Leeb moon people pleaser lol she still seems a bit flabbergasted with my intense emotions. So we'll just have to have patience and see how that works in our friendship.

Actually, my Chiron is in Cancer as well as my MC. Not sure if that would have any effects, honestly lol

And yes, Taurus actually understands Cancer very well. More than they like to admit, sometimes lol I'm sure that's why I can bond with crab placements
