Liked season 1 a lot better, but I will definitely keep watching this series. Season 1 was amazing. Loved the writing, the set design especially, the acting, all of it.

This second season was just a little bit uninteresting. Its cool how they continued the theme of Peter and Roman being these sort of unlikely superheroes, but this team of masked apocalyptic child-killers running around just seemed entirely too random and uninteresting. I think a season needs a greater over-arching theme than that. It shouldn't be harder to generate an antagonist/villain that is a lot more mysterious and interesting (preferably even supernatural) than that boring cult. It wasn't creative and they just went for shock-value IMO.

Olivia's character was so much more interesting in the first season as well. They REALLY toned her down with her whole rebirth as a more empathetic/emotional/vulnerable - almost to the point of rendering her boring. She was the best thing about the first season. As an aside, I have never seen a person play more Scorpionic characters than Famke Janssen.

I didn't like that blonde chick with the leaky breast milk at first, but she grew on me.
