Filth (2013)

So this movie finally leaked and I downloaded & saw it last night/early morning while my system was tackling an impressive amount of alcohol intake. I thought it was rather predictible, but worthwhile.

Fitting soundtrack too, though maybe more relevant to the ending in the book.

I only read about the novel! I still have some heavy Dostoyevsky titles in my book shelf before I start tackling 21th century litterature 😛

So did you like the movie or the novel better?

Ah well, I don't usually fall for hypes but he really is all that!

I love the way he tells a story, the sentimental undertone, the multifaceted characters & the existential themes. To think that someone knew humanity that well even before Freud and modern psychology entered the arena.

loved, loved this movie 😄

I love Dostoyevsky, read most of his books.

He had a Virgo wife so that must have sent him spiraling into understanding the human psyche lol.
