I don't know about you but I read some of the summary of this movie that you can find online, and it seems like its a bit similar to Paprika. Now Paprika was a high concept Anime movie. Of course I feel the story is a bit different in this one but it does seem very very similar.

I've seen paprika. Good film. But by God have you seen the third trailer for this:

Man oh man this is definitely gettng my money.

Yeah I saw it last night before Iron man 2. Frankly I think that trailer was the highlight of my evening last night. :/

I am stoked. I have always been a fan of Leo. I do share your excitement. I mean when I saw the one minute trailer of it 7 months ago, I have been dying to see it.

I take it Iron Man 2 wasn't so good? Watched that last week, give it a 7/10.

CAN'T WAIT EITHER! The trailer alone blewww me away!

I've always liked the mysterious Decaprio, and enjoyed him MOST, so far in Titanic.. I also liked him in Blood Diamond & Gangs Of New York (..have yet to see shutter island)

(i've noticed he has a penchant for dying in many of his movies, so i hope he's safe in this one..lol)

..anyway, he already has 6 other movies in pre-production over the next two years, producing four of them!! Busy* guy ..

You know the most fucked up thing about this movie? By the end you felt relief for Leo and his crew...

...even though what they set out to accomplish was a very, very bad thing indeed.

The last fifteen minutes "Inception" contained THE best scenes I have ever seen in a movie.

Not only did the intro make SENSE in these 15 minutes, but the second to the last scene where they were all in the airport made me feel both joy and sadness. And the scene before that when Saito woke up to find Cobb looking INTENTLY at him?

Wow.

When it started I was confused as hell.

By the end, the way the realization dawned was like rain in Hell: awe inspiring stuff.

What. A. Dream...

I know there were complaints that the movie was very linear and not imaginative dreamwise but it did occur to me, that I atleast personally don't dream of pink elephants.

LOOK AWAY IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THIS YET:

Exactly. I'm glad "Dr Parnasus" type worlds were avoided cmpletely. For one thing most of the characters were Suits so the settings the movie took place in were highly realistic.

Ever since seeing the movie, I've been dreaming quite a bit lol

I mean I ALWAYS dream when I sleep during summertime (what's up with that, anyway?), but ever since seeing the movie I've been aware I'm in a dream and surprisingly haven't wanted to wake up!

I've wanted to see how the dream ends. But dreams don't end do they. They... CUT.

Haha..the theatre I was in let a groan out in the end because of the last scene. But it leads to healthy discussion about dreams and our own personal experiences. I like movies like that.

Me too! I liked Shutter Island a bit better, but Leo makes damn good choices when it comes to selecting scripts. So...***SPOILER ALERT - DON'T READ FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN"T SEEN IT****

Was he awake at the end, or not? I think so for two reasons...he saw the faces of his children and he wasn't wearing his wedding band. In the dream states, I noticed he was usually wearing it. Can't know for sure, but that's my hunch.
