In my opinion this year great movies starts with.
- Star trek
- Push
- Watchmen
- Race to Witch Mountain 2009 (great family movie btw)
- Terminator —Salvation??
- TF-2
- Caprica (which explain the battle star Galactica way back to beginning)
On the horror Side..
- Outpost
- Red sands
- The objective
If you've ever survived after watching The Descent--- 2005 no other movies will ever scares you no matter how bloody they are. But —dead wood?? is ok compare to the other craps out there so far.
Sorry to forgot adding:
- "Knowing" in sci-fi. And the (dead birds) in horror..
We like "Knowing" all the way up until the end and it just went way overboard with the alien stuff. I was really disappointed because it was so good at the beginning. Oh well.
Knowing displayed the alternative solution to our existence even you can not believe it you can deny it neither.
According to the archaeological evidences :
?? 25,000,000 years ago — ancestor apes
?? 14,000,000 years ago — manlike apes (hominids)
?? 2,000,000 years ago — Australopithecus and first use of stone tools and weapons
?? 1,000,000 years ago — Homo erectus, large hairy creatures
?? 300,000 years ago — Neanderthals, well-organized, cavedwelling tribes
?? 275,000 years ago — Male Homo sapiens gene pool emerges in Africa (Cro-Magnon man, indistinguishable from us today)
?? 225,000 years ago — Female Homo sapiens gene pool emerges in Africa
?? 175,000 years ago — First humans appear in Mesopotamia from Africa, and Caucasian races begin to diverge from African origins
And then...
?? 11,000 years ago — Following major planetary catastrophe, divergent strains of cereal crops and dairy animals suddenly appear (now N. Iraq)
?? 5,000 years ago — Sudden and widespread appearance of agriculture, animal husbandry, metallurgy, mathematics, systems of writing and advanced astronomy.
According to evolutionary experts, humanity is an impossibility. Our line sprang out of nowhere only 200,000 years ago, when it should have taken many millions of years. And we went from stone tools to a moon landing and computers in just 5,000 years!
How is that..?
Hmmmm....Alien progenitors??
Yeah, if you follow the history especially sumerians...
Q-bone, have you read any Douglas Adams?
Of course I do I am addicted to Douglas Adams, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke and their ideas..
Have you read end of childhood?? By Arthur C. Clarke
The —knowing?? is a mild version of —End of childhood??

This movie was so lame LOL. My Leo made me watch it, I really wasnt interested in watching a bunch of losers in superhero costumes run around for two and half hours. . .lol.

i liked rorschach a lot but my fav was dr. manhattan.

This is gonna sound strange but I'm reading a book that reminds me of something Q would read 😛 When I bought it I kinda giggled at myself but *shrug* it's actually very interesting.
It's called "Cover ups" The 100 most disturbing conspiracies of all time by Jon E. Lewis.
It's got aliens, assasinations.... that kind of thing. The book discusses what could/did happened.
It made me thing of Qbone. 🙂
It made me thing of Qbone.
How nice of you to —thing of me?? but I don't read conspiracy stuff those are from paranoid minds and I don't have one!

Dr Manhattan was cool- what with all the omnipotence and full frontal nudity- but he seemed like a bit of a douchebag.
