I don't know why but 1922 reminded me of Steinbeck's 'Of Mice & Men', the horror and gory bits being add-ons for dramatic effect.

@Ram416,
Do you agree with my assessment astrologically?

(Damn, I just love alliteration)
Anyway... just got through watching Stephen King's "1922" with my Taurus son. I discuss literary elements with my children whether it be movies, actual literature, or in life itself.
So, I told my son that movie "1922' is a perfect depiction of the adage:
"The sins of the father falls on his family."
This is one of my favorites.
The application of this topic, to movies, can get funny... particularly if used simplisticly like...
"The Island of Doctor Moreau"
And the axiom, "First do no harm."
Astrologically speaking...adages, aphorisms, apothegms, & axioms are the key to understanding the lessons of the North & South Node and/or understanding the sign axes.
My son and I agree that the Stephen King's "1922," deals with the Taurus/Scorpio axis: Taurus Motto: "I have"
Scorpio Motto: "I desire"
But, I'll come back and illustrate further.
I'm interested in others' application of adages, aphorisms, apothegms, & axioms to movies. Brief or lengthy illustration of how the movie and the adages, aphorisms, apothegms, & axioms relate.
