Scoot Pilgrim Vs The World

This movie was an unexpected treat. A friend of mine wanted to see it, as it was their turn to choose. I thought I was going to completely hate it, but I went back to see it a second time 😄 It's target market: anime lovers and comic/graphic novel enthusiasts. If you like things like that it will be a decent film to watch.

i really didn't like it flavia, i don't like how Edgar Wright (director of shaun of the dead and hot fuzz) has gone all hollywood and mainstream. it had hardly any of his touch, style , humour or even quality 😢 it seemed like the executive holllywood pricks had too much to say in this production.

BUT. nevertheless. an entertaining film at the least.

two fingers up to everyone said and told me "it's like kick ass but twenty times better!" bullshit to that i say.

Crap.

Speaking of crap, Diary of the Dead and Paranormal Activity really piss me off.

You do know that most movies aren't even shot with video cameras? They're shot with film cameras. I guess that makes you the stupid one. Diary of the Dead did suck. I wouldn't say Paranormal A sucked, but it wasn't great either. It was very gimmicky at best...or worst? I dunno. I really like Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. I thought it was quirky, funny, quotable, and entertaining. I could see how the average moviegoer wouldn't take to something like this. It seems to be geared more towards people who play video games and a lot of the references in it are based on the video game and comic book culture.
