My ultimate favourite
Saw them live last year and they were sadly really disappointing. Their album, a moon shaped pool, just sounded to me like breathing, moaning, and pots and pans banging. And even worse live 😢
Bad luck

It's a reminder to me to not forget to live. Like an alarm bell (yes that's in the lyrics) when I'm stuck in a restrictive, demanding space, that I need to try to bust out lol

Awww, you love them too! You understand. People mistakenly think they're depressing.

I've been listening to them since Pablo Honey, though lately not so much for their newer albums. The misconception that they are depressing is based on a superficial perspective and usually stated by people who don't actually listen to their stuff. (i.e. "I hear it but I'm not listening").

It's like they are passive aggressive most of the time and people don't get the Libra's way, the Libra's message.
One of my favorites...
I don't just love it for the sexual, intoxicating, dubious beat of the drum. I feel this is as physically sexy as Radiohead has gotten.
However, they deliver a powerful message like that of a hypnotist:
"Just 'cause you feel it
Doesn't mean it's there"
I'm was so sick with this song obsession, I had to fuck a Libra, that was playing obvious games with me, to it.
During my Saturn Return, this was my lullaby. This song was my sanity. It was on repeat all night for many months, if not a year. I feel truly blessed for this song, it's title...

‘Everything in its right place’ is probably one of the most boring songs in history.
I houseclean to it... both literally and figuratively. And, my babies help with enthusiasm as they love the depth of their mom.
I taught my babies with music. It soothes an erratic mind.
The repetition is the depth of meaning. Sometime we need to clean up our relationships and boundaries.
Look someone used "The Shining" aa the video. Yes, they understand!!! They used the right parts too!!!!
You know what? I need this song right now but not too much. Thank you, right on time.
It's worthy of full lyric posting:
Transport, motorways and tramlines
Starting and then stopping
Taking off and landing
The emptiest of feelings
Disappointed people, clinging on to bottles
When it comes it's so, so, disappointing
Let down and hanging around
Crushed like a bug in the ground
Let down and hanging around
Shell smashed, juices flowing
Wings twitch, legs are going
Don't get sentimental, it always ends up drivel
One day, I am gonna grow wings
A chemical reaction
Hysterical and useless
Hysterical and
Let down and hanging around
Crushed like a bug in the ground
Let down and hanging around
Let down
Let down
Let down
You know, you know where you are with
You know where you are with
Floor collapsing, falling
Bouncing back and one day, I am gonna grow wings
A chemical reaction (you know where you are)
Hysterical and useless (you know where you are)
Hysterical and (you know where you are)
Let down and hanging around
Crushed like a bug in the ground
Let down and hanging around
Radiohead is THE music of Pluto in Libra youth. They outlasted ALL of it's grunge competitors, standing by us, still holding our hands as we all group up together.
Radiohead has beem faithful.

I understand what you’re saying on an intellectual level but my Aries rising made me wanna bang my head against the wall everytime I heard it. I’d rather some of their other songs.

I just described how in my original response. However, I welcome opportunity to continue.
Think it may stave off PTSD. Hmm? A mind that has been pushed to it's limits trying piece itself back together.

This was one of my coming out songs. It also helped me cope with some of my romantic rejections that I received. Imagine being ghosted twice by the same person - this was my go-to song.

Ahhh, I see it in the lyrics love. Amazing!
Can't find the full original version, but this will do.
Radiohead "Optimistic" is another favorite. I feel that this song helped me climb the corporate ladder. It's hypnotic so that under stress it pops up in my mind. Even his vocalese are like breathing exercises for anxiety.
To me it's like a grandparent explaining corporate america thus, acknowledging my fears and helping accept it all... breaking my naivete.
The drum beat is like motivation and courage to get the fuck in there... steady, steady. And, I swim in some shark infested waters.
I went to a Christian graduate school so as to learn to walk along monsters without becoming one.
The lyrics are so poignant, I would listen to it at work and feel coached, mentored, and counseled.
Flies are buzzing round my head
Vultures circling the dead
Picking up every last crumb
The big fish eat the little ones
The big fish eat the little ones
Not my problem, give me some
You can try the best you can
You can try the best you can?
The best you can is good enough
If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
This one's optimistic
This one went to market
This one just came out of the swamp
This one dropped a payload
Fodder for the animals
Living on animal farm
You can try the best you can
You can try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
If you try the best you can
If you try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
Oh oh oh
Oh oh oh
Ah ah ah
Oh oh oh
I'd really like to help you, man
I'd really like to help you, man
Nervous messed up marionettes
Floating around on a prison ship
You can try the best you can
You can try the best you can
The best you can is good enough
You can try the best you can
You can try the best you can
