Hmm.. either a strip joint.. or an upscale "hide a way" for the older male set. (I bet James T. could explain.. they probably originated in England.) Like a country club, just for men. Back in day, (way back..) a place to escape the wife..etc.

Thank you, Espernaut. I always wondered. I'm pretty sure it's an upscale get away from the wife joint type of place, because the strip joint, I've seen (from the street. and not the corner, don't worry. lol)...
but, then, if that's all it is, why does nobody want to tell me what it is? lol
They're being silly, I imagine. There's this big thing about being a Mason, as well. (Not saying this club is that) but if one organization can be hush hush, I could see another acting the same way. "To Bug You".. I'd bet. Is all.
(Maybe they're afraid you'll want membership..) It's becoming discrimination to exclude based on gender, etc. Some of the older clubs (I've heard) have had to open their doors to everyone.. (Which kinda defeats the point, to me.)
I mean.. Guys don't crash gals tupperware parties, etc.
Or demand to be let in on those Lingerie Parties (that I hear) women throw. "Yes, I'd like the cassarole dish, and the blue Baby Doll ensemble, thankew".. ETc etc. 😉

oh, gosh, you crack me up.
I'm not sure how I feel about gender exclusion though. The itsy bitsy part of feminism in me want to balk at that, but then you make absolute perfect sense, with guys not crashing lingerie/tupperware parties. lol. Perfect sense. This is good, you're forcing me to think, without even trying.

In that case.. I think .. The world Does have .. enough Tupperware.
I think so too, and you will never see me at a tupperware party. lol.
(I'm evil.. there was a hidden inverse direction of thought in my last statement..) By inversion, ergo..one can never have enough lingerie. But, having pried that thought out in the open.. I must retire it now. Tisk, that.
😛
(I'm glad you told me. I love being let in on evil hidden inversed directions of thought.)

The Farce is strong in you.. I feel a great surge in the farce. It's all around us, surrounding us.. etc.
The Farce? I could see The Force, but doesn't The Farce imply some sort of fakeness?
Farce can also be considered as humor. As a negative, you're right, it would be indicating fake /put on / staged, etc.
I see, I see.
You're very farceful.. I can feel that about you. The farce is strong within you.. dark one. erh.. my son. No wait.. awh forget it.

What are your favorite songs that sort of define your teenage years? Sometimes I hear something on the radio and I think, "oh my gosh, I remember exactly what was going on in my life and how old I was when that was popular". But I definitely have favori

is anyone else out there obsessed with music from this decade? I think it's one of the best decades in music history. And I love disco. I also love all the folk songs, like anything by james taylor, carole king, carly simon, the list goes on.
radio stations just annoy me so much.
-they all have commercials on at the same time
-you only notice the radio noise when the commecials are on, never when the music is on
-the music is all repetitive-never anything new

I really like most of their stuff, but I have like three or four or five very favorite songs that I am very partial to. Their voices are beautiful...did you know they were born either on the same day or one day apart? And they're both scorpios, which is
I heard this on some commercial for a car--then I looked it up and found out it's been done by a bunch of singers. Rod Stewart being one of them (dork alert, but it's still a kickass song)!

So, I'm obsessed with this new song they have out called "Seven Nation Army" or something like that. But I can't find the lyrics to it anywhere, not even on the band's website. Can someone help me out? I'd really like to know what the guy is saying. I
I hope these show up...

Here's a good one (and good cover songs are rare): "We Can Work It Out" sung by Heather Nova. Originally by The Beatles of course. It's nice, download it if you can.

I hate all boybands, all of them with no exceptions and no particular songs which could even be considered "alright".
I also don't like hip hop or rap or crappy pop music like Christina Agulera or however her name's spelled, although some songs I
