I prefer my couch to my bed.

I just prefer it for the time being. But I'll always love sleeping on the couch. ? There is a freedom from continuously sleeping in your own bed.

No, a day bed is a bed with a trendle underneath. I'm currently on the trendle. When I got a roomate, I never questioned what I'd sleep on. So for a week I slept in my study on a yoga mat. Then my mother suggested I use the trendle and bam.
The lesser half of the day bed i sleep.

My dad has slept on the sofa downstairs for as long as i can remember even as a small kid...When i asked why (in my 20's) he said my mum used to fidget too much which i know is pure bullshit.
Mum is disabled and has her own room now downstairs and my dad sleeps yet again on a sofa in the kitchen of all places....
No logic at all.

Why? My couch is enveloping and my bed is big and empty. I can throw a leg up the back of the couch for snuggles.
