Does Pisces delude in love?

Ok, so first off I'm not calling y'all delusional but I'm wondering if you do the same. When you're in love (or lust or romance) does Pisces look at love with rose-colored glasses? As in the relationship might not be perfect, their actions aren't perfect, wheat even happened wasn't perfect but ohh..after it all, it was a true love story?

Eh, case in point. This could just be my dumb a $ $ but I got invited over to a guy's house. He's leaving the next day out of the country but we get close. Me, I'm defensive, got my guard up, not going to deliver so to speak so I get awkward physically. Then, after a few hours of almost but not quite doing the deed, he's gotta leave, run some errands so in all honesty, I got fairly depressed, feeling bummed out.

But now (I have Neptune in 5th house btw) I'm feeling blissful like everything went well. Is it just me or my imagination, honestly? Does Pisces feel a sentimental feeling even if nothing was perfect? I do like rose-colored glasses, except when they break. It's been broken before but the effect can be intoxicating. Ugh.

So yea, Neptune in a Leo house. I'm thinking there's something to that. Leo's always wanna feel in love.

Wow, it's like you're the opposite of me. I have planets in all those houses, but don't be sad. At least you don't have Saturn in the 4th, which is a rough planet to have in what is supposed to be the house of nurturing and family. Talk about hard childhood. No demons in your closet, at least not super deep-seated ones..

To be honest, I'm not really sure. I just assumed that way because 5th house rules love and creativity. I was just wondering why I put on the rose-colored glasses in love. Goddang. I also have Mars in Scorpio so I can get fairly passionate and attached to someone.

Thanks @Vixen2, that makes the most sense. I just don't want to set myself up for disappointment no matter how good I can make it out to be in my mind (potentially). Yes, I've been in love before and gosh that was an adventure, though it had its ups and downs.

It's pretty sad, I guess. But then again, my Sun is in Capricorn so I'm always gloomy to an extent. Saturn in the 4th made me feel unloved as a child, I've " daddy" issues so on and so forth. I was the youngest and kept to myself so it definitely was a lonesome feeling as a kid.

Well, sorry to stray from the original topic but yea, that about sums it up, feeling neglected or having a cold parent.

I think love is part delusion on any signs part. You see what you want to see and what you don't you either make up or accept as tolerable "unknowns". That is where the oh so mysterious nature of love/lust comes from.

For me, Its nice at first, but I don't let myself get that far with someone who didn't already show signs of reciprocating my feelings. So I wouldn't call myself deluded in the beginning.

For me, delusion comes in the end when you have already loved someone and it ends for whatever reason.

I don't fall in love easily, so I don't fall out it easily either.

Delusion is just a psychological defense mechanism at that point, maybe the emotional mix of oxytocin and biological drive for bonding.

1. this is a clarification you made to express what you meant as "rose colored glasses" ... and as a Fish, I see this completely backwards. Nothing is perfect. Nothing has ever been promised to a person as being perfect.

From my perspective, the delusional person will be the one who believes life is perfect.

2. people in here are answering you, as if you've been treated wrong. this guy didn't reject you. You told him no and didn't deliver. That's ok .. my only point is that this got twisted around to make people believe that he wasn't doing you right.

The question is an appropriate one, as Pisces suffer delusion easily and frequently ...... but, your explanation to drive your point across - you make yourself sound like the one wearing the glasses, and him sound normal
