awwwwww, thats adorable. Harrison was my favourite Beatle. Have you seen the concert for Bangladesh?
Not for years but a friend has the DVD. I am trying to get it from him so I can burn it.
He was a Buddist, wasn't he?
P-Angel,
I think so but I believe he was interested all types of Spirituality and Mysticism.

I remember right after he died, someone close to him said that he was ready to pass over to another state/level of existence and that his death was a peaceful one.
That's so cool.
I think he was more interested in Hinduism...
Oh, I don't really know that much about him, personally, except that he was spiritual and died in peace . . . . the way he lived.
All the Beatles were into Hinduism at one point because they took a trip to India and got hooked on acid or LSD. Something like that.
It's an amazing concert.
I read somewhere that the Beatles were also into Aleister Crowely. A bit disturbing for me. His picture is on the cover of St. Peppper and was considered one of their "heroes".
Has anyone ever seen "The Rutles"? It's a mockumentary Eric Idle did on the Beatles. The George Harrison character is an Indian guy. Cracks me up!
Radio, FYI
LSD & acid = same monster, just different terms
So, their religious belief system is based on tripping? Is that what is meant here?
Never heard of Aleister Crowely. Don't even remember the cover of St. Pepper's though I owned the ablum. Maybe too many blunts were consumed in my day. Periods of time are blanked out.
Or, maybe those blacked out periods are times when another personality emerges. Who knows.
I do remember them being obssessed with the Dahli Lhama. I wonder if Paul and Ringo are still into it?
My Aqua best friend met the Dahli Lhama. Can't remember what she said about the experience. She spent 2 years in India.
No, its just when they visted there they really fell for their culture and the hallucinogents.

GH wrote a song titled "Pisces Fish". The song ends with this phrase
Some times my life it seems like fiction
Some of the days it's really quite serene
I'm a living proof of all life's contradictions
One half's going where the other
half's just been
And I'm a Pisces fish and the river runs
through my soul
Too true.
