Many Pisces individuals may feel detached emotions due to their sensitive nature and internal processing. i have an aqua venus, and from what i read is the definition of being detached..
my girl always say that i only show affection when i want sex...*shrugs*..i thought that was just a man thing
I'm very detached.
Learned this the hard way.
If you expose emotions, others will use it against you.
If you sit back and watch, then the choice is yours.
Do you dispay them or not, based on if they deserve them?

I could tell by the looks of him, what he said to me when he approached me, his job title, where he lived, and where he was headed to after he met me. That this man deserve's no ONE SINGLE EMOTION, from me.

He'll be one of those guys i cal when im bored.

Interesting subject! I'd have detached emotions in regards to how I express myself. My exterior is cool & deteched at certain moments of the day and this is where a whole lot of misconceptions would arise from others. Some people would say that I'm in a bad mood, others would get all pissy at me and say, "You act like you don't know nobody" when really when I'm detached, I'm reflecting on things. It could be a new approach to a relationship, a new career move, a new style I want to try, etc. etc. etc. I think it has alot to do with my Aquarius Mercury.

Maybe I can act or make it seem that Im detached at times,it would usually be due to uncertainty about a partners inclinations or at their 'testing stage'..but deep down emotions could be kicking up a storm,that is if I already have real involvement emotionally.If there are emotions there..they will have to surface one way or another!

As to the OP's question. Same as Piranha's. When I fall for someone the flood gates are opened. The person either swims through it or is drowned in it. The kind of intensity that dwells inside me is so hard to control when I feel that I love somebody. The only way I can describe it is..I want to make a safe world around them. I want to put them into this bubble and give them everything they'll ever want. All I ask is for them to love me back and stick by me. I don't think I've ever been detached when I feel like I love somebody. I don't ever want them second guessing if I love them or not. That and when I'm with somebody all I want to do is love on them and shower them with my affection. I too have an Aqua Venus, but I can never be aloof unless I'm seriously hurt by the person. Then I have to shut them out to stop any further pain.
Some days I love having emotions. Others I just wish I could put them in a box and store them on the shelf.

Yep. While my ego is very much a fragile mess, my feelings on the other hand seem very much non-existent. I can't remember the last time someone managed to hurt my feelings.
My ego? Gets hurt on an hourly basis😛

Pisces are self-serving hypocrites. They'll detach long enough to get their way. They seem emotional just to get people to feel sorry for them, and then throw you under the bus. There isn't anything deep and emotional about them. Pisces are just psychotic and will use the most underhanded methods of getting their way,

I have Pisces in everything and I can be very detached. I sometimes wonder if I was a sociopath in my past life because my level for empathy is very low. However, the people I love/like get the best of me. My feelings and emotions are like a switch, when its off-its off forever and it doesnt matter who you are.

I think I am like a HUGE box full of emotions. I fall in love very very easily with people and get hurt equally easily. So while earlier I used to keep that box of emotions open, I learnt over the years to put a HUGE lock on it. So now I am pretty much detached.. I love people easily even now, but only as long as they are with me or in front of me.. and then I dont even miss them.. its like everything goes back so easily and gets locked in that box somewhere.
For most people, that box is just never opened even for a peak... it takes very special people to be able to unlock that 🙂

Haha! I wish I was like that, sadly Im not. Im the one who ends up hurt and never even show it! let alone make people feel sorry? Yes i do get detached easily... its my way of letting go of the hurt..

wow i met someone like this today, idk if she was a pisces but i was asking her questions and she would make me answer the questions first before she did..at first i was like woa..this chicks mysterious..i had never had that happen to me before
So what—? I'm not a selfish person but I'm very self-centered and there is nothing wrong with that. If I had a sandwhich cut in half and a hungry person came along and asked for my food; would I give that person half of my sandwhich? Absolutely not, but I would buy them their own. And thats me in a nut shell.

I've learnt to switch it off. No point having it on all the time. And in real life emotions don't apply. This crazy myth that we love everything and everyone has got to go, calm down we're not Jesus😛
I reserve my emotions for people I care about, they get the sloppy, gushy, sappy side... but even then I don't want it on all the time. It's bloody stressful.

holy shit you read my mind! i dont seem to really have the capacity to express my emotions. im very blunt to people and i dont fall into depth of emotion because i feel like its an illusion that only gets my mind off track. im a very logical and intellectual thinker and i dont understand why... could be my merc in aries but my thoughts have always spoken to me more than the way i feel. and i dont feel bad for people and give them pitty. i dont even pitty myself which is very not pisces or aries

No, I don't really experience "extreme" anything unless I choose to ... and if I choose to not subject myself to something emotionally, I certainly wouldn't do it in extreme measures.
As a typical Pisces, I have the uncanny powers within myself to emotionally seperate from anything in my choosing, without letting it interfere, nor influence me emotionally .... I think it's odd that you would make this thread to make the suggestion that you are not in control of how you feel.

not that i have no control really i mean i just have a really hard time getting in touch with my emotions i dont know why? like you said its very unlike a pisces.... and unlike an aries which are my next two planets in line after my piisces sun in moon considering my personal planets.... would i get this from a mars in gemini maybe? or a aquarius in saturn? maybe my houses? i dont even show people affection and i dont even cry that often. i just dont understand where it comes from? is it a third decon thing?
