Are any of you familiar with the North Node aspects of your natal charts. It's supposed to be your "soul's mission" . . . if there is any truth to it I have one hell of a mission because mine is in Pisces. I'd be going from fire (sun sign) to water (with only air in my natal chart). . . . i'm so screwed. hahahaha
With North Node (Cancer) in the fourth house, South Node (Capricorn) is in the tenth house.
A tendency to feel the need to be in control, to take responsibilities too seriously, and to be rigid and fearful of being dependent on others are some of the issues this position suggests. With this position, we need to let go of our tendency to over-manage our lives and others' lives, to relax our standards of perfection and achievement, and to avoid falling victim to living through the eyes of society instead of valuing our own personal (as opposed to professional/status) achievements. Being dependent on others is a fear, but only when we release some of our need to be in control will we achieve our goals in our professional lives. We need to work on allowing ourselves to be vulnerable, exposing some of our insecurities and personal needs without fear, and making time for our home and family life. By working on our inner foundation and our "base", success will ricochet back to our public and professional lives. By allowing ourselves to follow our personal instincts, rather than be driven by our ambitions, we can achieve greater happiness, balance, and fulfillment in all areas of life.
This all makes sense, and fortunately, i've found/always had my nodal balance.. i like my n/s nodes-they seem to fit/harmonize nicely with the rest of my chart, and have never found them particularly challenging. i find Venus in my 10th (s-node) to be a very helpful benefic/conjunct my Mid with only positive aspects, and no planets are in Cancer (n-node), so thankfully no adverse aspects there either.
"i think what's more screwed is that our south node is in virgo 😐 that's what we feel familiar with. imagine the quantum leap if we came from virgo-like and needing to go to pisces-like."
They say north node are qualities you need to develop to find inner balance. Mine is Sagittarius (I agree with that). I don't know if I'm more comfortable with Gemini ways though (South node).
Then you're off to a good start since you get along with Leos. They can probably help you out a bit. =)

Yeah, I can definitely relate to Virgo in terms of being a worrier until things get done and sometimes the neat psycho comes out of me at any given time. I think I've already started to move away from my South Node though.
"we feel instantly comfortable with coz we recognize the qualities in them from our past lives."
I totally agree . . . you're lucky to have your sun sign be the the same as your north node. All you really have to do is keep yourself from falling on Virgo ways. And thanks for posting the info.
"the pisces or water elements in my chart NEED to be fulfilled for me to feel safe and happy i don't really need to develop those qualities of my north node they are already there infact they dominate my love style "
I see ... however those qualities could dominate your love style but may not dominate your overall personality. See even though most of us approach astrology for loving relationship purposes, I think astrology is a science that applies to ones full personality which can definitely be used to find love but that's not the initial purpose of that science. I think what your north node is saying is that you should sort of walk towards becoming a Pisces, as if you were transforming from a Capricorn sun to a Pisces sun. You could be Pisces like, in the way your heart give in, in a loving situation but don't go about your life in general like a Pisces would. You may not swim through life enough like a Pisces would, you may not seek the experience rather than status like a Pisces would. You could still be very Capricorn on how you go about life in general.
"i'm learning to disappoit them little by little so they can be prepared for some big ones later lol."
Hahaha that's too funny but it's true. I think all Caps should let loose a bit and breath since it's something you can only do while you're alive. I sort of have the same challenge with my North Node too. I tend to have too many restrictions. I always attach a strong purpose to every step that I take, that I often miss out on a lot of experience. I have to be more Saggy to reach my full potential. I'm working on that.
"yeah JD you can start with not talking like a 100 year old wise man old the time LOL "
Hehe ... Nah I'm not offended, I trust the heart behind what you say. I agree, I might have to start talking just to release. I look forward to be a hundred years old though.
Develop the ability to understand and appreciate opposing points of view, without necessarily giving up your own opinions. Find out that cooperation and diplomacy can help, not hinder your aims. Create the balance between what you give and what you receive. Discover that close, committed relationships between yourself and another person can benefit both of you.
North Node in Libra, South Node in Aries
The South Node in Aries represents a competitive urge— you want to win. You may try to do this by being defensive, combative, and competitive with others. However, you only win big when you cooperate in mutually beneficial partnerships, openly share your feelings and intentions, listen to and accept the help of others. You have good relationship karma— involve others in your decisions, and give of yourself, share your talents and abilities with others. You only really benefit from win/win cooperative situations, not win/lose battles.
My north node is in Scorpio but I have no idea what that specifically means or if that is good/bad/okay as astrology wise i'm lost there.
------
well none of the North nodes are "bad" . . . It's basically the sign you have to extract the good qualities from this life time- also you have to move away from the negative traits associated w/ your south node. Check the links I posted on the last post of the first page.
