I've met this guy from BBM sometime five months ago. We had a rough start because we never defined our relationship. So it was just all casual at start.

About a month ago, we talked about what's between the two of us. And we agreed to be "above friends" with no commitment. The reason for this is because we still want to look into the possibility of us being together however, the guy is still hung up on his ex. He finds it unfair that he will commit to me and he still has feelings for his ex.

At that moment, I have always supported him to finally meet and talk to his ex. Of course, he wants his ex back. I know that. But, at the very least, things would get clearer if they get to talk. He never told me that he was actually going to the province back and forth to see his ex but to no avail. He revealed this to me just earlier.

I need your advice. He doesn't want me to go, he told me he'll be sad. However, I think he needs time to think about everything but he doesn't want me to go. And it's really hard for me to let him go.

I need your input guys.

Another one of my gender mates having his cake and eat it too. Love, did you ever hear that song by Kanye West Runaway? I'm not judging dude but you need to cut him off period and let him choose. Sorry, but looks to me like your entertainment until the main act comes out. Find a man who isn't chasing a ghost and is willing to committ...fully

Yeah.. when we are hung up on somebody else, it won't go away until it's resolved one way or another.. and even then. Don't invest your heart. 😢

@Nemesis: Why in particular?

@Nefer: Do you think it will never work out?

@beautifulsoul: I know there will be a time that I need to cut him off. I just couldn't right now. Imagine if I do, he'll be all the more devastated. I want to cut him off the most natural way possible. I'll be leaving the metro next week. That should do it. I guess.

@rhaina: I've already told him I'd risk my heart. But yea, I figured out that unless they clear things up that he won't be able to commit to me fully.

Excuse my french but, eh fuck him.

What about YOU and how you'll feel if you continue to invest your emotions in this and he works things out with the ex and goes back to her?

Wise up and move on my friend.
