questions from an exhausted fish

it's well past 1:30 in the morning and I must get up very early for yet another business trip. Yet, I remain intrigued by several fish questions.
1. Is there a moderator to this board. (i hope that person is a kind and patient fish)
2. Where is everyone from (this fish is from meadowview,va.)
3. does this board function like a pisces support group (i hope so) and how did everyone discover it (i learned of this haven from a loving capricorn who was concerned think I was sinking into a serious mental funk)
4. how did our lovable yet mysterious freebird land on this pisces plant. ( am so interested in her for some reason)
5. have any of you fish ever heard of the band depeche mode. (a longtime uk techno band popular with goths, ravers, europe lovers and intelligentsia
6. how many regular members are on this pisces board. (there appear to be about six or seven
7. what is the average (it appears to be around 24 or 28). this fish does not believe in age at all because it has no impact on me but I am at least 26) how old is the bird,
8. why in the heck am i writing this at 1:47 in the morning when I have to be on the road in a few hours (lunacy perhaps, i will be glad when that tylenol pm finally kicks in)
8. why doesn't everyone love all of us fish. every, and i mean every except one, fellow pisces i have met has been extremely compassionate, unselfish, accepting and loving. geez, what a world it would be if pisces ruled this mean planet.
9. good night , carolina firebirdies. i am off for another adventure and for the third straight week I am swimming solo. how sad. shew, i need a good cry.

The bird has landed once again and is in for the night. I went to a movie today, Duplex.....not what I had expected. Left disapointed. Ben Stiller was not his usual and there were not enough laughs. Then went to a bookstore to inject some knowledge into my brain so that I have something to ponder about.

You sound like a flower-power child of the sixties who still turned on by the simple things in life. Bravo.
What makes this fish swim. Hmm. Auto Racing, reading, theatre, movies, travel, the ocean, sunsets, cats. those are the basics. However, the past year has been truly hellish with a near-fatal recurrence of crohn's disease followed by not one but two breakups _ the last occuring just over two weeks ago. I have buried my sorrow in work ever since.
Not a pretty sorry, my dear bird. sorry. The secret to healing. No secret actually. Just compassion, understanding and friendship _ the essentials to happiness.
i have my first day off sunday in six days. i plan to ponder and dream like a a good pisces is supposed to .

birdie, i think you would love liquid moon. it examines many complex issues relating to a successful relationship and the various problems couples faces. rather mature, but very thought provoking.

I think I would enjoy Liquid Moon as well...it does sound very interesting and thought provoking. Complex issues, now there is something for me to ponder on.....issues are issues right? They just are. Then....along comes a human from his/ her individual world and with his/her individual mind, begins to create what those issues mean. (good or bad) rather than just what they are. Does this make sense to you? I feel that we sure do at times take a word that someone has said and we either let it go or we choose to make a mountain out of a molehill. Just some thoughts randomly swimming through my little bird mind or shall I say, "flying" through my little bird mind? Ah, it's all the same.

You are so right about the healing....COMPASSION for one another, no judgements, and understanding. You are such a very wise fish. 🙂 Did you see the movie, Finding Nemo? If not, you must see it okay?

I am so sorry to hear about your hellish past year. You really have been through a lot. I bet your emotions were all over the place, sort of like floating in the ocean. I'm glad to see that you made it through that little storm......so, is your boat docked in the harbour or are you presently out in the big, unlimited, free, beautiful, unknowing ocean, experiencing? Is your cat with you?

I so wish that I could find a stable and happy harbor, but honestly my mind remains clouded with dark thoughts no matter how hard I try.
birdie, you have a delightful mind but remain somewhat guarded with your life. That is perfectly understandable with all the freaks and filth on the internet, but please rest assured that you are with a caring friend here.

Mr. Fishy....hey, Mountain Fish....wait a min.!

Safe Harbour? Oh no....Fish do NOT belong in a safe harbour docked to a pier...there is no exploring there, no storms to weather through, safe? What is safe? Bird sitting here flapping wing against her head.....no, no, no......My oh so very special fishy friend, YOU belong out in the ocean, swimming free! Playing, swimming up and around the sharks, the minows, the groupers, the flippers of the sea, tuna, and the continueous variety of species.

Can you imagine me (the bird of paradise 😉) being safe in my nest? I forsure would become "cuckoo in my nest!"

Some wild adventureous cat would see me sitting there thinking to himself "now there is one stupid bird, think I will take a ride on the wild side and climb this tree and I will have that bird for me!" Yep, that is how I see it....and you, if choose the harbour...will be caught by some fisherman sitting in a docked boat with a worm on his hook and a beer in his hand!" I see this character with a huge belly, his hat on backwards, sweat dripping down his forehead slurping his words desperately needing a "fish fix"....it's you he sees buddy...quick, get the heck out of that harbour as swimming fast as possible! Swim with the sharks...I'll meet you at the lighthouse over there.

You are such a delightful and insightful bird. Yes, I do like to swim in deep waters, but my latest shark bite now has me tentative and the dreaded d-word _ depressed
I need to find a more down-to-earth mate (or fowl). For someone so highly-intelligent, the bird also keeps her guard up and never reveals details on her birdland. understandable, but this fish would love to take the bird for a swim someday. how about a boat ride

Thank you for your kind words to this bird. The shark bite thingy huh? Do you have a band~aid for that wound? I know that tentative feeling that you express. This is so very common after a shark bite, cat bite, goat bite, and a bee sting! We become very apprehensive don't we? The ole FEAR stuff emerges from deep within the waters of our soul stirring up the waves. Know what I say? grab the nearest surf board dude and catch the wave! Go back in that water and swim, swim with a bird! 😉

No, Allen, you wouldn?t wish that if you?d seen a seagull dive for food! Freebird is a beautiful sparrow whith a great wingspan and a brain to match.

I agree with that point, but I love to spend time at the beach and so enjoy the seagulls in the early-morning dawn. The freebird is so full of knowledge and intrigue, yet she remains a mystery. hmmm. Freebird even seems almost untouchable at times. I guess us fish are way too emotional and irrational to attain the perspective perch the bird has landed on in life.
the life of a pisces _ we are doomed to daily drama aren't we. There never appears to be a normal day for us. Tears, momentary joy, great sadness. Some time its all too much. hmm. where is that elusive bird of happiness. Do you have a clue, oh wise turtle.

Here I am 🙂 I was flying around minding my own business when all of a sudden out of the blue came THREE seagulls and they whisked me away to some beach to check out a certain fish. There was a human standing on the beach throwing bread in the air and my friendly dive bombing seagull pals left me behind so they could eat. Oh well, such the life of a bird.

You Mr. fish and Miss turtle are so very kind with your words. I think the three of us could make great pals...A fish~tail, a bird~brain and a turtle~dove. There, now we need to write a book about ourselves. LIFE IS A BEECH 🙂

trust me dear bird, I used to be so very happy and fun. I've tried so hard to summon that joy in recent weeks, but i just continue sink deeper and deeper into depression. I was up until nearly 5 this morning pondering my current dilemma and i found no answers.

This bird is very sad for her "fishy friend". I suppose all you can do is just move through the feelings huh? I so wish I had some answers for you....will bird food do?

Sometimes the answers come when we least expect them to. Forinstance, I did not know when my wings were going to work for me...till I was pushed out of the nest! dog gone it....the first few times were rough! Neighbors cat almost got me.
