branh, you really don't have to be rude and attack people personally in order to be straightforward, logical and realistic. you shouldn't use "realistic commentary" as an excuse to be plain rude. such tone is NOT a necessity, as you put it. it is perfectly possible to be a logical, realistic, straight, honest etc. person in a sensible manner.
this my friend, is a lesson you really need to learn if you truly seek to develop your intellect and your personality, as you so often have stated. if not, then fine! you're still a cool hog and i value your opinion as clear-sighted, reasonable and rational, but it?s just going to waste because most people perceive you as an asshole. once you gain a few interpersonal skills (or let's say some style ! 😛) you'd be able to make an impact with your statements without having to compromise your beliefs.
it's a simple choice you can make: do you wanna make that impact or do you only want to distinguish yourself, show people how much better you are, how much clearer you see things! is it about a certain issue you care about or simply about you showing people how mentally superior you are!?

also be aware that not every fault NEEDS to be straightened!!! there is important things that we have to stand up for or against, and there is less important ones that we?d be much wiser letting go! sometimes you don't seem be able to differentiate between the two...

If it helps put things into perspective about Haffo, he called everyone who congratulated me on having healthy babies with a successful birth "asslickers" and that they would "lose his respect" because they are "condoning my actions." He made viscious and downright cruel remarks about me and my children...I WISH you could read some of the things he wrote, it was too much. Not the opinion stuff because everyone is entitled to that...but he seemed to be taking my pregnancy and the birth of my twins PERSONALLY like HE was the one being affected! It was very weird actually...

Even though I had begun to ignore him...I can't say I am sad they deleted those posts but if they did in fact kick him off permanently, it probably stemmed from his continuous disrespect of people...not just my and his situation.

We all talk about free speech, but we must remember that coming to this site is a "privilege" and not a "right". If the DXP Gods don't feel it is appropriate for their website and it's purpose...it is their right to delete it and we can't rightfully be "mad" about it.

I commented on the who does drugs thread brahn that addiction is a disease including nicotine addiction. It's the tobacco industrys fault for putting out a product that they know would hook people over time and indiscriminately.I understand that natural tobacco is not addictive. I don't know I've never been a cigarette smoker,I like a cigar every now and then they taste good especially after I eat. I suppose you've tried the patch and the gum and hyptnotism,and acupunture,and african chew sticks,abstinence groups.Cigarettes are a beast, I have some acquaintances in the same quandry as you and their health,hell their lives are on the line. one is an ovarian cancer survivor and she can't quit the cigs. She has a strong will,but she can't quit the cigs. An older cousin of mine spent the last couple of years of his life hauling an oxygen tank around with him attached to a hose and a mask he'd wear. He had emphesyma from smoking all his life. I don't know what to tell you bud,I already believe you're a strong willed person. Pray. find something, there's all kind of research being done on helping people break the nicotine habit.
