9/11 trials.....
See, this is the problem that I have with bureaucracy: the tendency to red tape and over exaggerate. So, there needs to be a trial for 9/11 terrorists. Goodie. But we went to War with Iraq and assassinated it's leader for his "role" in 9/11.
We have had an extensive search for "the mastermind behind the attacks" bin Laden. The War on Terror spawned from the dust of the WTC towers. All of this is costing the American People money. But the country that was responsible for these terrorists is Saudi Arabia, our "Allie". A fact that has been silent in the media, and a fact that our Government has turned a blind eye to.
And now these fat pigs are suggesting to spend $ 200 million for security measures during the 9/11 trials?
I'm not a genius by any measures, but something seems a little backwards if they are willing to spend this amount of money on security measures for the trials, yet continuously refuse, and have refused to take the measure to actually practice the art of securing our Nation.
I don't know what has a more devastating affect on the American People. The fact that 9/11 actually occurred, or the fact that we will be paying out of our noses for false sense of security. With the state of the economy, it would be a more sound philosophy to build our Nations' strength by recycling our debt into our own economy and start paying the deficit than to start a spending spree on credit, which will result to more money out of our pockets.
Democracy? Its nothing but a gateway for bureaucrats to spread their filth and feed their greed. This Nation was intended to be a Republic. The state of affairs is sickening. Everything from wars, health care systems, and local governments. Yet the burden continually relies on the infrastructure of this represented country.
It was never Communism or Socialism that we were to be afraid of.... Our Founding Fathers never warned of foreign governmental ideals as a threat to the American People. Our Fathers feared of a centralized federal government that would feed it's own power off of the American People. Bureaucracy is exactly what the Founding Fathers feared, and it has been the demise of our our Country. We are living proof of it, and we will continue to suffer the consequences of an unchecked, unbalanced, and irresponsible Federal Government.

The fact that you get your news from MSNBC is pathetic. That whole network is on the verge of going under. They get crushed in the Ratings by FOX News (You know, the only REAL News Station in America)
I think it's pathetic that you only looked at the first post, not the second post (you know, where I actually wrote MY opinion after READING the article). I also think it's pathetic that you are taking only one thing from my posts, and claiming that it's a "fact" that I get my news from MSNBC.
If you want to talk to me about sources of reliable media, then do your homework first, and then come back to me. Majority of them are own and co-owned by the same source. And why is it that nightly news are searching for RATINGS—? This couldn't possibly be the reason why they focus on entertainment value of news rather than the actual event?
Everyone thinks they are an expert because they can offer an opinion.....

Growing opposition moves prosecution of alleged terrorists from NYC
"WASHINGTON - The Obama administration is proposing a $ 200 million fund to help pay for security costs in cities hosting the trials of accused terrorists such as Sept. 11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
The money will be included in a budget plan for 2011 of roughly $ 3.7 trillion that President Barack Obama will submit to Congress on Monday, a congressional aide said Saturday. The aide spoke on condition of anonymity because the spending blueprint hasn't been announced.
The administration said late last year the trials would take place in federal court in lower Manhattan, near where the World Trade Center once stood. But there's growing opposition from the city, and on Friday night NBC News and other media outlets reported that the administration abandoned its plan to try Mohammed in the city. "
