Tomorrow Sept. 22nd is the first anniversary of bills introduced into the Senate for the establishment of a Department of Peace. Please call your elected officials and support this movement today and tomorrow.

I believe it's essential to support The Alliance for Peace. Right now it's the only concious option we have for change in ourselves, and in our government. We cannot be half-assed about this. Do the research. Talk to everyone you know about this. Be part of making this happen, for lives depends upon it!

So far not much response... Out of all the folks I've been talking with (in the real world) it's those with children, and older senior women/grandmotherly types who have been the most receiptive to contacting their elected officials. Maybe they are the only ones who feel they have something at stake here and are willing to give it a shot. Well TG for those people who are willing to make a few simple phone calls, in the belief that it can make a difference.
