When we begin to think and examining the mentality and ideology of those who perpetrate political violence, ideas, and ideologies that generating the acts of war, genocide, and terrorism, certainly we'll stand to learn much from of the thoughts and psychologies of those who initiate violence's of this sort.

One of these thoughts is barbaric act of "punishments" be it to a single person or the nations around the world?60 years of constant wars in the Middle East is a fine example of this kind of idiotic thoughts.

Depriving "punishing" the people because of they've done something against our wishes generating dissatisfactions and this in its own term generating rebellion hence the resistance and revenge—.at the end wars!.

There is no peace after war, war always brings more wars, and punishments always bring counter punishments and so on?!

Our civilisation has been around for 50,000 years, if we could survive for 50,000 years more perhaps we'll be able to learn that war and violence won't solve anything.

I didn't look at it as "punishment", so much as taking a stand. A re-focusing of energy with a goal in mind.. My post was more tongue in cheek... Guess I was hoping that folks who read it, would take a moment to reflect on the idea of being proactive on a personal level.. Seems to me, throughout history, the crazy people who are the leaders, fueling all the war, and evil crap, don't look like women. They are not the soldiers. We are.
