The SuperHighway is well underway. Even during Papa Bush's administration, there was talk and preparations for the Trans-Texas Corridor, which is where all of this started. The proposed engineering plans for this hwy show that it will be within 1-2 miles from my parent's property. Many people in the region where my parents live will be forced off their property. They have no say in it. They will be given a small chunk of change to move somewhere else. Forget how long that land has been in their family, forget what memories they've had in that house, forget the fact that the amount of money they'll receive is not enough to buy a house and property comparable to what they have.

Even here in Houston, they've began work. They've recently renamed state highway 59 to I-69 and construction has begun to increase the number of lanes. I-45, which connects Houston with Dallas will eventually begin construction to increase its number of lanes as well.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, I support the Bush Administration. What I don't support is someone whom bashes this country when he/she thinks that ALL AMERICANS share the same brain and thought process. There are many things I don't particularly believe benefits the nation or the world, but I don't think badly of any nationality. I could have the mentality to hate Iraq and Afghanistan, but what good is that? Just like Americans, not everyone in those countries support what is happening? Not all of them hate Americans just like not all Americans hate the rest of the world.

wow primegem that is some list! and H74 it's our duty to all the folks who have fought and died for this country to support the constitution and to speak out when our rights are at stake. there are so many who believe that we are headed down the wrong road, and the Bush family is leading the parade. yes it started (H-69) before this present administration, it's been an adgenda of the globalists. if they were above board and are honest with the American people, do you think Americans would choose to lose it's soverignity? Canada maybe does or doesn't see it coming, I don't know.. My question is, "is this what we choose? or is it being done without our consent?" I believe it's critical that we talk about this, and welcome the discussion. Are Texans outraged to lose their land with no say about it and little compensation? the Texans I know would protest.
