Best Relationship Combo

Can anyone please explain to me in plain english what the best combo is as far as birth charts go? I don't really understand what "trine" and such means when it comes to astrology as I am just starting to delve into that sector of it. I have heard that the best combo is Sun trine Moon (his sign being sun and her moon) am I hearing that right? I am a Sag/Sag sun/ascend with Libra moon...what would be considered a harmonious match up?

Lol I wish they had a little thingy you could put your birth info in and it would give you the birth info for others that would be most compatible with you.

It's really quite annoying that I haven't found one yet

Then at least if I met someone with that same birth info I would know they were something special...but I guess if it were right I would feel it anyways?

Thanks for the info everyone...I realize the question is a bit broad, but I had heard that going by a womans Moon sign and his sun was a good way to determine compatibility...maybe I just read that wrong.

Speaking in general I do agree w/ astrology's guidelines as well as from experience. Such as water & water and water & earth.

True, the moon - sun positive(trine, sextile, conj.) aspects are a good indicator of compatibility plus sun-venus aspects. I used to think that signs in compatible elements should work but I was shocked that my bf has predominately earth and I'm fire/water. After looking closer, our personal planets have incredible aspects. So don't be deterred by the elements of your signs. Positive aspects between the mental, physical & emotional signs in your charts can overcome typical pairings.
