Depends on the individuals involved, how long the distance between the people will be, the circumstances surrounding the situation, etc etc
Lots of things come into play, not just a black and white answer imo x
True, I’m talking to this guy. He leave 16 hours away. Curious to see if anyone had any experience of long distances relationship.
I’ve done 2 LDRs and enjoyed it.
They both did not work out for reasons unrelated to distance.
How long did the relationship last? How many hours away you guys was from one another ?
I have been in LDRs. My current bf and I lived about 2500 miles away from each other. He moved to CA to be with me.
But our circumstances are different from most.
If so , explain why or why not thanks
How long is a distance? Does it permit to see each other at all or more than once a year?

Wow that’s beautiful. Happy things workout for you. How often did guys travel to see one another in the beginning of your relationship?

Relationship lasted a year. It was 1.5 hr plane ride to his home and 1.5 hr plane ride to the town where he worked. There are no roads that connect to his home town, work place, or my town, so plane was the only option.
The other relationship, about 2yrs. It was a 10-12hr plane ride. If I were to drive it would be like 4,700 miles. 😆

Wow that’s crazy lol. 10 hours on the plane. Geez my anxiety would have kicked in. How often did you guy see each other?
yeah my sis moved to to be with her man. i think it only works if you plan to settle down afterwards, or have some goal in mind. being forever long distance, can have its own set of problems but thats life, we just have to get on with it

Once or twice a year. Once for 9 days, and then again when there was a 4 day holiday. But we were really only long distance for a about 2 years. We have been living together since April of last year.
I visited his state during our visits, because my income is higher and it was easier for me to come to him than vice versa.
I will say, it can only work if there is a goal for one or the other to move.
