Can't let go

I've always saw it as caring deeply but I'm starting to think it's just abandonment issues. I really hate it about myself. I'm still lingering over an ex who I haven't seen in god knows how long and he has clearly moved on. I haven't really vented about it to anyone because it's just that ridiculous of me and I'm ashamed. I've been bottling it up and it's starting to make me feel down when I shouldn't be. I'm constantly trying to force myself to understand that it shouldn't matter to me anymore.
I have a Tau. Sun and Aries moon. Tau sun likes to own and sees people as extensions of oneself. Aries moon feels everything so intensely and hates to lose. Life is a winner take all situation. A relationship ending means a notch in the loss column. This is just me though.

I've also started to read into progressed charts which is interesting to me. My progressed sun and mercury are in Scorpio and my moon is in cancer. Do you pay attention to those? I went back and looked at photos of myself as my moon progressed and it's crazy how aligned they are. When my moon was in Aries I was always in fights at school. In taurus, I was in my first stable relationship, and when it was in Gemini I actually broke up with that guy and basically lived at the bars. The few friends I have are probably done hearing it so I just don't talk about it. I have too. You aren't alone. I am not sure why. I don't think you should be ashamed?
My ex was really abusive physically emotionally sexually etc . I was ashamed because i felt not moving on meant i had asked for it in some way. I was really angry and felt I had betrayed myself.
I decided not to question it. That' helped me move on.

No as a Libra I can't relate at all. But I do belong to support groups that help process emotions such as you are describing. It sounds like you need some "help" with your abandonment issues.
