Gemini crush on a Libra guy

Hello everyone,
I'm new to this - I've never really paid attention people's astrological signs until recently so maybe you all can help me 🙂
I'm a gemini female who has a crush on my libra friend and I'm so confused. I could swear he feels the same way but it's so hard to tell with him. If you have a minute here's the story:

I know him through his ex-girlfriend who I was pretty good friends with for a year or so. They broke up in the beginning of May. They lived together for a little over a year and it was very serious. They no longer speak and I don't keep in touch with her either. Because of this relationship I don't think he wants to get involved with anyone right now. However, my instincts tell me he likes me as more than a friend. I actually even got the feeling, back when he was with his ex,
that if the situation were different he would be interested in me. Don't get me wrong, though, he was completely committed to her and he is a good guy.

Anyway, we have a great rapport, tons of fun together, and he makes it clear that he thinks the world of me. The problem is, if there's nothing else there, I don't want to keep thinking there is or could be. How should I deal with this?

Not enough time has gone by...plus if he was sending you hints when he was with his ex and you were her girlfriend I say somebody's really shady. What goes around comes around!

Thanks. Although, he definitely wasn't doing or saying anything to send me "hints" back then. Like I said, he was committed to her. In fact, one of the things that contributed to their break up was the fact that he wanted to stay home with her, fix up her house, have a life together, and all she wanted to do was go out and party every night.
