Well it all depends on what your def. of "asking someone out" means. To some people, asking someone out means asking someone to enter into a relationship. But if your version of asking someone out just means asking to hang out or initiating the date, I'd say go for it. Hell, why not. Sure rejection sucks, but then again the worst thing that can happen is that he'll say no. And in that case, it's STILL a win/win, considering it's not wise to chase after someone who doesn't even think you're worth it enough to take a few hours out of their day to get to know you.
He might very well be shy & hey, you initiating the 1st date might be the best choice, considering he might be literally waiting on you to go 1st. If you feel in your heart that he's just as interested in you, but yet doesn't have the guts to say so, then make the 1st move & just hope for the best.
Plus, I'd recommend you being creative when it comes to wherever you want to have your 1st date. Aries are usually very aggressive & the ones doing most of the chasing, so when you find one that seems to be the opposite it's either b/c 1. They're full of ish & just putting up a front to test the other person or 2. It's b/c they're waiting on someone who mirrors the very qualities they lack..and in this case it might be courage. If this guy is all that you think/say he is, he'll gladly want to join you on a date. And if not, screw him.
