I think someone secretly bought me a drink at the bar?

I went out with my cousins on st patties day and I bought them a round of drinks. It totaled up to like 36 bucks. I kept checking my checking and nothing was taken out. I even looked at my credit card statements

I even signed the paper to approve the transaction. So I’m confused

Unless the bartender somehow voided the transaction

But on that night not many men talked to me that would indicate that behavior

Only two men talked to me.

Why would someone pay for my drinks and not approach

Or why would the bartender not just say it’s on the House

1. St. Paddy’s Day. Pattie is a woman.

2. No bartender I know would let a third party get your drink without asking your permission first.
