Insecurity vs connection?

Why is it some people you seem to have an instant connection with? I can instantly feel comfortable and like best friends.. We both want to see eachother as much as possible.. Then some people I'm really attracted to physically but I get on the defense or something.. Like I feel like I cant really talk to them and things just are kinda awkward. Is this me being insecure or shy around certain types of people or is there just no connection? Any thoughts?


It's funny because the one I felt an instant connection with was a gemini the one I was insanely attracted to but just never felt on the same page with was a cancer I'm a libra... I'm just trying to figure out if astrology really has that big of an effect on relationships and connections or if its something else..

I remember meeting someone through work and initially we got on really well and chatted. We had limited time together and it felt like we had to drag ourselves away each time - he mentioned it as well. In time I felt some attraction to him, and I think he did too, and we suddenly became all shy and awkward. LOL. We just need to get past that. Unfortunately I don't see him at all now. Sigh. I think there might have been someone else at home.

Having said that, I wouldn't sleep with someone I didn't feel I was on the same page with. I like the cafeastrology synastry site. I can relate to what they say about the different signs.
