Long-distance Aries bf broke up with me

I am an Aquarius who met an Aries man back in October of last year. We have been in a long distance relationship since approximately December of last year. I went to visit him for the New Year and everything was great up until about a week ago where I noticed that he had started to become slightly distant when at first he showered me with attention; talked to me several times a day via video chat and text message. The day before yesterday he abruptly broke up with me via text message accusing me of disrespecting him by not showing him enough attention and seemingly blowing him off. For a short while I found myself sort of begging him to not do this to me because I was so caught off guard by the situation because he described me as his soulmate and was the first one to declare that he was in love with me. So, needless to say I was taken aback by the break up out of nowhere over something seemingly so small. But as I reflect I decided that I would leave the situation alone and give him his space. I decided that either he would realize how frivolous him breaking up with me is and want to work it out or either he never really loved me in the first place and was just playing games. My question is has anyone else had an experience with an Aries similar to this? Are they prone to react hastily and break up only to want to come back later on or should I write this up as a total loss? If he does try to come back, what should I expect?

I can tell you only by mine own experience i am a scorpio and was 6 years with a aquarius.

We were dating for a couple of months out of the blew he said he couldn't do this he had some family problems i knew he was somewhere in our city and i searched the whole night for him till i found him that was the first time i saw him not as a tough guy.

Years after that it happend a couple of times because they are so afraid you are gonna leave them and the things you say because maybe in your head it is no disrespect but for them it is.

But if you really want to be with him just ask him what it was what disrespected him

@Feby believe me, I've tried. He doesn't really give a clear answer that makes sense to me. He just kinda mentioned that with the distance already between us, I'm creating more and he can't handle that. He also mentioned something about me being less available to him because of me giving my attention to someone else which is not true.

@jazzscorpio he has mentioned several times that he feels that I will eventually leave him although I assured him I never would. I don't know, I guess I'm having a hard time making sense of that since I don't feel like my attention or feelings toward had lessened at all. It feels like he's trying to make me the scapegoat for something else he's not telling me and I wonder if this is something Aries are known for.
