i've never run into a website (or book for that matter) that put ascendants in synastry together. but from what i've gathered, since both of you share the same rising, your personalities compliment. rising is "how we are going to get there" so your approach to many things will be similar (and i say similar because your sun signs are different). you've got a sun conjunct moon synastry with her, nice 🙂.

As far as rising sign matching, I have read that your "ideal" ascendant for your matchis simply your descandant. The opposites attract theory. Leo rising match to Aquarius rising.

Does it really work like this, I dunno. I've analyzed very few rising matches -- need more birth times. One virgo/virgo match I know is working...perhaps the same rising works reasonably well. More data is required. 🙂

I can attest to this theory by wat of practice.

My rising is Taurus (naturally, descendant is Scorpio)
My girlfriends Rising is Scorpio (naturally descendant is Taurus)

And.......WOW......Is all I have to say about that.
