Scorpio's Emotions.

I don't really get it. if scorpios are generally very sensitive people why do they always try to hide their feelings? they often come off as cold .. so why the barricade? It's okay to show how you feel every once in awhile..or to even communicate it..that way things wont just keep building up. showing emotion is not necissarily a weakness..it can help lead to greater understanding between humans.

I have just been intrigued by the glyph..check it out for scorpio and virgo..Its sooo similar..We are meant to be together..

Interesting, there are many websites out there that say not to mix virgo/scorpio. Everyone here seems to disagree.

It's not about weakness that we hide, it's about protection. We protect ourselves from being vulnerable to others, it's a VIP only type thing. We know and realize that we're sensitive, but we're not weepy softy's. There's a time and place for such a thing, and we hate to break even if something gives us no choice (the death of a loved one, heartbreak, etc....). When in a relationship we'll be in tune with our other half, and when they fall we pick them up, or stand strong when they can't. We just don't like to show our emotions till trust is built, and that takes time. It's not that we don't show it, it's more that we find it difficult to express. When you know a scorpio through and through, we can't hide worth a damn. But that takes a lot of time, we don't come out and say things, people that pay attention though can figure it out.

Maybe it depends on the Virgo and the Scorpio mixing.

I don't readily show my emotions. Have no idea why that is...Its like nothing impresses me anymore...no matter how grandeur

Everytime I say what's on my mind, I mean, when something is bothering me, and I just want to say something, its turned out badly, or caused problems.
So, when its someone I deeply care for, I don't want to freak them out. At least until we're inseparable, and they're more loyal/reliable.
I'm just afraid that whenever I say anything, I'll lose that person.
Hence the shut-mouth on deep issues. Especially if I see potential

Are we expected to be alfa-aggressive upon sight and do things to them they would never tell their fathers but their mothers might ask about. Of course we do those things but theres more to us. The depth of our emotions is our worst nightmare or at least mine. Im not saying like nebbish milktoast Im saying like all of our feelings, good or bad run deep and sometimes they get the best of us. Do people not know that fear is an emotion. So is doubt. Do they not understand that negative emotion is felt as strong as a positive one and a negative one like doubt or uncertainty can prevent scorp from putting all of their cards on the table. Are we expected to project our passion to others with the bravada of a flock of Satyrs but disallowed to feel equally as passionate about our emotional self and its protection. Since the passion we give to others is so reputedly intense why is it such a iconoclast for us to feel so intensely the passion/emotions which affect us .HMMMMMMM——??
