moon signs in relationships

do you guys find that your moon sign and sun sign compatibility works better in romatic relationships or friendships.
for example:
my moon sign is 19 degrees in cancer. i've found that i get along pretty well with cancers as friends, but never was romantically interested in a cancer (exept 1 exception). but i will say that i have a few friends with cancer boyfriends and they seem to have the characteristics that i would want my boyfriend to have.

my question is in your experience with present and past relationships did you find that a sun sign mate that trined you moon sign is the best compatibility in a romatic relationship or is a indicator of a good friendship?

i should add that I've dated a virgo with a cancer moon, and also talked to a couple of men with scorpio moon(suppose to be compatible with cancer moon), 1 aquarious, 1 scorpio. but there was no chemistry or spark. im wondering if we have 2 much in common which could make things pretty boring.

in my experience and observations... both about equally. i think that is part of the reason why taureans and i (leo) are so magnetically attracted to each other in both romantic and platonic ways. my moon is in virgo and oftentimes the taureans i become closest and/or most attracted to have a fire or air moon.

i've realized that myself. i get along very well with fire and air sun signs. the earth and water sign friends mostly have fire moons . all my fire sign friends (or the ones i get along with the best) have either fire or air moons also. im not sure about my air sun friends, its not that many of them lol. i've found that i dont bond with fellow water moon people for some reason. i think its because i dont really care for having a cancer moon myself so they sort of remind me of the things i dont like about it (when it come to how i deal with emotions). but i get along with them fairly well. i think when it comes to a relationship a water moon sign companion would prob b the best fit for me but im never attracted to them which causes a conflict. what im attracted to and what works best for me are 2 totally different things.

Well my moon is in scorpio. Look at past relationships, I'm pretty reserved in most that I do; my actions are small, but always have meaning. That's my virgo. However, I love with an intensity, and I can get very attached if it's someone I truly love; also I can be jealous if I feel like my partner is being taken away.

Since your moon is your emotions, I really believe they play more of a role in relationships than your sun sign.

I have my sun in sag and aries moon. I actually don't usually click with fire signs signs for close friendship or romance (although had one long relationship with a sag). But, I have noticed that my two close libra friends have fire moons like me (another aries moon & leo moon). I have noticed that I "get" them emotionally and have a high tolerance for their fiery emotions.

So, my fire moon gets along with other fire moons, but hasn't really trined with the sun.

I am cuspy cap/sag with taurus moon married to a libra sun, gemini mooner. I honestly don't know how that works. But he does have tons of air in his chart and mines is split in half with earth and fire.

i got a leo moon, i get along wit all moon signs but my most turblent relationship was with a taurus moon, tha best a gemini moon, tha worst and one i will neva do again, not even for sex, was a scorpio with a libra moon. I get along great with aries moons, ok with scorpio moons(to sensitive at times)saggs moons are real fun to be around.

But all in all they get along wit me great

other leo moons tho, i can not make it happen at all whatsoever

I always thought having a Gemini moon was a sign of madness lol. Or at the very least it lends itself to a sort of Jekyll & Hyde personality. Just what I've read.

I have an aries moon, and i get along great with sag moon, aries moon, leo moon, gemini moon, aqua moon, and virgo moon.

Cancer, scorp, pisces and libra is a hit and miss.

I get along with Air Moons wonderfully! and Earth Moon are a hit or miss deal. Fire... *crickets*
