Older/couple friends; what's your take?

I'm sure there are other people out there like this! I do have friends my age, the ones I went to middle/high school with and a few I met to work. Recently though, my main crew is between 6-25 years older than me. That's even how I met a 20 year older Virgo I briefly dated, through friends!

I get along with all ages but besides my friends I've had forever, I seem to prefer older.

Recently, I have acquired 4 new very close friends. The funny part is, I met and became friends with each as a couple. One is a Pisces female and Gemini male; together 8 years and they get married on Halloween. Then through them (best friends of each other) I met a Pisces female, Aquarius male couple together 11 years total and married. All are in age range 31-40. I became really good friends with one Pisces female, her Aquarius husband is decent friends of mine. And super close friends with the Gemini male (he's me if I was a guy) and pretty equally close with his partner; we often hang out together in a group. I have a bf, but for awhile it was just the couples and random me joining in, I never felt like a 3rd wheel.

I'm not sure how this happened, but we have become really close! Some people think it's really weird considering the circumstances though....what do you guys make of this, and have you ever been in a similar situation?

Yeah I agree! I just think people find odd that I met all 4 people as a couple, but became equally good friends mostly with each individually. Usually, you hear of being really good friends with one and decent friends with the partner because of your friend. But I'm really close with each individually.

The ones I talk to the most are the Gemini male, and the Pisces female on the other side. But the other Pisces female I'm also super close friends with, she just doesn't communicate as much via phone.

It's crazy just how I came about them and then they pretty much became my social circle. I met a couple through a friend I hadn't talked to in years...talked to the dude from her and he invited me to their concert. That's where I befriended his gf, became fast friends with Pisces and gem, and a month later met up with Pisces and Aquarius. Also at the time, there was a single Taurus female friend that's become one of my closest friends now too.

I went from having 4 main friends (1 of which doesn't live here) to gaining 5 more super close and MANY decent/good aquaintences in a few short months.

The older crowd I do the most with; we go to art exhibits, special venues, museums, wine tastings, one female Pisces is a food critic so eating is a huge centered thing we do and I know all the best places now! The Taurus ended up being a massage therapist and when I threw my back out, did a full body massage for me and brought her bed over, no charge. The gem does leather working and corsets etc on the side and has fixed and hemmed numerous articles of clothing for me, for the mere price of a taco.

These people all came in at a hard time in my life and they are so close to me now! I can't believe it's only been since march.
